Garbo's is amazing! Every item we tried was stellar and honestly the best food we've tried in austin. Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff is so sweet and the owners are lovely! We aren't from austin and they made us feel welcome and we will definitely come back next time we're around Austin.
I found this restaurant on Eater. I was in the mood for a soup and this seemed like the best option. I started off with the lobster bisque. It had an ample amount of lobster meat and a delicious flavor.It was creamy and filling. At first I was disappointed to have the soup paired with crackers rather than bread. I have loved Garbo's since they were a food truck that roamed the streets of downtown Austin. My favorite lobster roll in town (don't tell Clark's). Heidi, Sam, and Hannah have done a tremendous job expanding into the far reaches of our metro.
