“Oh my!! I just love happy accidents like stumbling upon this gem. Couldn’t find the place I was looking for but found this family owned and run taco truck and am so happy I did. We don’t live in the area but it’s so good that I just may need to make a special trip out here once in a while for great, authentic Mexican food. I ordered the flautas en vaso (deep fried rolled chicken tacos served in a cup with lettuce, tomato, green salsa, sour cream and Mexican cheese), an assortment of breakfast tacos to take home and a lemonade. Delicious from the first to the last bite. The service was also wonderful! Thank you, Juanito’s Tacos y Más!“
“Prepare to be amazed by the tacos! Not only did they cater to our vegan request flawlessly, but their El pastor was unparalleled. The owner's family was incredibly kind, engaging in delightful conversation and offering homemade beverage suggestions.“
“I tried the nachos Al carbon and they were ok. I should have read the menu better because they had beans and I don’t like beans on nachos…The green chile soup was really good. The waitress was excellent. Will be going back soon to try out more items from the menu.“
“My husband and I went to go stop at the gas station there. I asked him, are you hungry? Let's try this food truck. I've been seeing this food truck off the interstate. We live in San Marcos Tx. I'm glad we did stop and get something to eat. It was worth it. The tacos were really scrumptious and the corn tortillas were just right and not too greasy. I like how they put cucumber slices in the taco. The salsas are really good. Not too hot. If you hadn't tried their tacos. You better go by and get yours today. In my opinion they have the best tacos than anyone in San Marcos. Food truck wise.“
“Tacos were the bomb. Only reason I'm leaving 4 stars is i didn't get all the tacos I had ordered. Was missing 3 tacos. Too far to go back and tell them. But will definitely come back again and I'll be sure to check my bag before leaving again.“
“The hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant in Kyle, Tx. Food was delicious, plentiful, and hot when it arrived. Totally recommend it to everyone who hasn't checked it out. My only hope is they consider opening a larger venue as it is too small for the volume of customers.Parking: Part of a small sized strip mall that has limited parking. My wife and I walked to it because of the parking situation.“
“Stayed with friends who live near by and stumbled upon this hidden gem. HIGHLY recommend if you enjoy good authentic tacos. We had breakfast tacos + pastor and the carne guisada. Everything was fantastic. If you get the carne guisada I'd get extra tortillas with my order to offer additional support for all that great meaty guisada flavor. They only take CASH too, so make sure you bring some $ (there is an ATM machine in the convenience store portion of the store.)Parking: It is inside a service station so typical convenience store type of parking lot.“
“Cash only. Come prepared. Here is the deal, I come from SoCal and have family in Mexico. I grew up eating street tacos from birth. These tacos are hands down the most *authentic* and *delicious* tacos around. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food was perfection. Melt in your mouth goodness. We've scoured the area and NOTHING compares to the real deal like these tacos. We tried asada, suadero (fajita), pastor (our FAVORITE) and chorizo. $2 for mini tacos (our children 5 and 8 had 3 each) and $3 for regular. So affordable! My husband had 5 regular sized tacos . Can't recommend enough! Support local and delicious vendors and check them out!“
“Everything was good from this restaurant, food was good, service was good as well. Only complaint which I know it's a taqueria but they should have more seating or something because im sure on busy days some people would leave if no seating is “
“I can't give this place a truly fair review as I've only had one taco here - a bajillion times, mind you, but one taco. They have a salsa bar with red sauce, green sauce, and creamy green. Not a fan of red, but absolutely love both of the greens. There's also cilantro + onions and pickled jalapenos + carrots cut lengthwise that are are probably from a can, but an awesome offering. Now then, the taco I've had? Al pastor, of course. The price-to-filling ratio is so good that you'll want to order sooo many extra. These al pastor tacos are one of the good ones hence why I went to this taco truck that was so darn out of the way for many reasons (Kyle, for starters... and then it's out in some weird location). But that never stopped us from taking road trips here. Also, they have horchata dispensers below the cash register. Bit of a weird location, but the horchata was your typical cheap but delicious horchata.“
“What a great find! Stopped in for breakfast and had amazing service and great food. We look forward to coming back for some margaritas!Parking: Parking lot in backWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for wheelchairs along the side of the building.“
“I am always on a search for real Al Pastor. The kind the comes from el trompo (see pic) if you don't know what el trompo is. Found it deep in the heart of TexMex county of all places. This place Is grandísimo! The Al Pastor is delish! Very authentic. Feels like you are in Mexico inside. They even have tacos de caballo. The staff was great and speak mostly Spanish...bonus! I will be back to this place whenever I am in town.“
“I went to this place for the first time ever while visiting a friend with my family and it was really good. The food was delicious and the server was really nice and that kept bringing us more chips even though we had already gone through 10 baskets.“
“They will ask you if you live in Kyle even though you’re picking up your food so get ready to answer that question.Parking: If you do find parking lot it is very tight. Got to pe careful not to scratch or slam your car door when getting out. Or if your chunky like me, get your husband to let you out before parking that car, that’s been very loving.“
“Inside dining is much like being at a big family Thanksgiving, can feel a little crowded, but warm and welcoming!Food was amazing, price was very reasonable, and best of all their water and tea doesn't taste funky like a lot of places around here!! 10/10 highly recommended!!“
