“The food was decent. The salsa was good but definitely different. It had something in it that I have tasted before but couldn't figure it out. I was thinking that they used tomato bullion cubes in it but it definitely has a different consistency and color“
“First time buying in this place. The food is delicious, the quesadilla, uff delicious, it doesn't have a lot of cheese and so it's good to be able to dislike the uQuesadilla al pastor. The gorita is quite large. I ordered it with chicharrón in green sauce and I loved it. The delicious tacos. I recommend this place 100%. Next time I will take my children here and we will eat right there??. The girl who helped us was very kind?thank you.“
“The food was delicious and service great! Me and coworkers were on our way back from New braunfels and stopped by this place. It was conveniently next to toll road. We had queso, enchiladas, goditas, and barria tacos. Each one was flavorful and super delicious!“
“I was going to a friend's house and ask her if I could pick her up some breakfast on my way and she requested Mario's. It didn't look like much but the man that helped me was really nice and the tacos were goodParking: Marios“
“I order a torta. I was surprise when It came with fries in my to go box ?. Also the guys even put salsa and jalapeños on the side without me asking, because they saw I had a baby and took inconsideration she would be eating my food. And yes they were right.“
“We started eating here when I was pregnant with my daughter…we still eat here today. She’s 17. They have one of the best chicken fried steaks in Lockhart. And yes, I tried it on recommendation from another customer. Yum!!! I love the fajitas and nachos. Hubby gets the Guadalajara plate. The fajitas are delicious, so are the enchiladas.. a fact, I don’t think I’ve found anything here we don’t like, if not love. Especially the salsa! ?️“
“Homemade tortillas, excellent chips and salsa, honest to goodness tortas. We eat at Mexican restaurants weekly and come from El Paso so we know what decent border food should taste like. Give them a try if you want good food.Parking: Plenty of street parking on a Saturday at lunch.Kid-friendliness: No issues with our or other kids.“
“Wow! No, WOW!!! ? These are not only the best wings in Lockhart. But probably some of the best unbreaded wings I have ever had anywhere! They are seriously fallen off of the bone and tasty. I'm not sure how they cook them but I am completely impressed. I think boiled or steamed and then lightly fried in a very light oil. Very very tasty. And only 75 cents of wing. That's crazy! With a tall Modelo wow I'm in Wing heaven. It's worth going out Tuesdays. I've been passed in the sign here for 2 years I finally stopped in on a Tuesday to have the wings. I know what I'm doing with my next few hundred Tuesdays :-)“
“We were here for the BBQ Festival, but this was the best food we ate on both days. The service was great! Breakfast was just so good Saturday, we were right back on Sunday. The tortillas were perfect, and I could drink their red sauce. If you find yourself in Lockhart, eat here but get here early. They're only open for breakfast and lunch.“
“Quaint little hole in the wall type of restaurant that did not fail to impress. Service was amazing and with trying a few different options on the menu, we were very impressed with the quality and freshness of all the ingredients. We’ll be back and look forward to trying more menu options in the visits to come!“
