Habanero Cafe is a long time establishment in south Austin. This very tiny location has been cooking fantastic Tex Mex dishes for decades now. It probably only has 14 total tables cramped in the small place but everything moves around well. Open everyday until 3pm, they serve breakfast all day along with your typical variety of Tex Mex dishes. I have been to Habanero Cafe many times. I once sent my 4 boys there to get a meal together... they all loved it!!! What can I add to all of the many reviews... arrive early or expect to wait... and this place is definitely worth the wait!

Amazing authentic Mexican food. Great place for breakfast as well. We came here on a whim after bailing on an original plan to have breakfast somewhere else nearby. This place was MUCH better and we really enjoyed our breakfast.
