“A great food truck business on Grayson in the Besame food truck lot. I purchased the Party Fowl. My wife and I were across the street having drinks and I decided to get the big box of chicken to share at the bar. It was an instant hit! About five or six other people ate and raved how good it was. The price was reasonable for such a large amount of food. The owner and his wife were very nice. We ordered the medium heat rating which was perfect. The flavor was spicy enough to enjoy but not destroy taste buds. Cayenne and paprika were the dominant flavors with a subtle sweetness. The meat is chicken breast tenders only (of which I'm usually not a fan, I like dark meat) but these were excellent! They were very juicy and not dry or greasy. The sides of mac and cheese, and fries were great. The comeback sauce was also a hit. Special mention, they had these wonderful sweet pickles that tasted like they were homemade (I didn't circle back too see if they were). On a funny side note, I'm writing this literally a week after having my first experience with hot chicken in Nashville. So far, I'm most impressed with Pete's!“

We tried out the Spicy wings and oh my, not for the faint of heart, they are H-HOTT! (And we consider ourselves spicy eaters). She promptly offered drinks and even sample beers after asking if they had a red ale. I went with a Dunkle (German beer). That beer hit the spot...it was really good!! “Received kids meal coupons from Reindeer Dash 5K that were expired but the manager accepted them both.Was worried when I got them for the grandkids the store would not accept but no problem.Manage told me they try to accept the coupons even if expired as long as not a year expired.Great experience. Was able to walk right up and place my order.There's 4 categories of the Chicken Salad from Traditional, Savory, Fruity & Nutty, and Spicy. In addition to the Chicken Salad, there's also Pimento Cheese, Salads, Soups, and Sandwiches. Wanted to try different options, so ordered the Trio which allows you to pick 2 different scoops. Overall, tried the Olivia's Old South, Fancy Nancy, Pimento Cheese, and Jalapeno Holly.Each scoop was good and uniquely different. Being they were just scoops, you were able to taste each flavor without being influenced by the bread of a sandwich. I liked them all and came down to personal preference. They came with crackers for a little crunch. The trio was supposed to include a cookie, but they said they ran out, so can't comment on that part of the meal.It was a good, simple, healthy meal that was good and worth another visit to try some of the other flavors.“

“The food from this place was amazing! We ordered the Half Parrillada Don Jose, and it was great. It came with half grilled chicken, a sausage, and some grilled beef, 2 rice, and 2 charro beans. Also had a jalapeño pepper and another pepper kinda like a poblano pepper with cheese inside, grilled onion, 8 flour tortillas, guacamole, pico de gallo, and some sauces. It came with this green sauce that was like Crack! We became instantly hooked on this sauce. I don't know what they make this sauce from, but please don't change it! I feel the dry taste in my mouth as I chewed on it. Good thing it came with plenty of chipotle sauce and sour cream, because it would have made it harder to eat the chicken. They also give you salsa verde, so it makes eating the dry chicken more bearable. The rice and beans, the slices of avocado, everything was good on it, but the chicken. The chicken just needs to be cooked better.I also would like to add that I think adding some tomato in the plate would make it a little better, since this plate is more like a salad bowl.Based on my overall experience, I can’t really say if I would want to come back. “The service is great. I went through the drive thru and even though there were a lot of people the wait went by quickly. The staff is always very courteous and friendly. I always check my food before leaving but this is one place that I personally have never had a problem with my order not being correct. Great team work! The only thing that I was kinda taken back by was that the drive through has a staff member that will accept your cash payment and give you your change back as well because the carry money on them. I couldn't help thinking how dangerous that could be since I didn't see any security. Maybe that's just me being over precautious but after being married to a police officer for many years tend to learn your safety is always #1. I hate to say it but this day and age there are people that will harm you for next to nothing so knowing how to keep yourself safe is important. I know I wouldn't let my children take that position unless there was at least a security officer on the premises. Just saying .....“
