The chicken was amazing The fries were amazing ( they tasted like Barbque chips). The portions are massive and overall just a good place to eat. The guy running it is pretty cool. Looking up the menu was a bit weird but well worth it. I had the big smack and the BBQ mac and cheese sandwich. Both were really good.
Great little food truck! Nestled into a little development on Lamar St, it's kind of hard to find and you'd miss it if you thought it was in the building there between all the bars, but it's tucked in the parking lot and easily missed. You'll be glad you found it! There's a nice little outdoor eating area with picnic tables and mood lighting. It's a small operation. Just the owner and one employee, as far as I can tell. Smack's Chicken is a hidden gem! The owner is not only a wonderful cook but also a funny individual. You can tell he means business when he's cooking and serving up your order.
