I went to Pete’s for the first time, and the food was really good! Eric was our bartender and server, and he provided amazing service. He was super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food and even better customer service. I’ll definitely be back!
Not sure where I wanted to eat around San Antonio. My wife recommended this place because the locals love it.
Stopped by Pete’s Tako House for breakfast and was really impressed. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. The tortillas tasted homemade, and the salsa had just the right amount of kick.
The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. You can tell why this place has been a San Antonio favorite for so many years. Great food, good portions, and reasonable prices.

Pete's Tako House offers a nostalgic diner setting near downtown and The Alamo. The beef and chicken fajitas are fantastic, and the prices are modest. The flour tortillas are a little bit different than others, fluffy clouds of goodness with a melt in your mouth taste. The menudo and refried beans are highlights. Breakfast tacos, especially the chorizo and eggs, are a favorite. The Barbacoa served on weekends is also highly praised. Complementary chips & salsa always hit the spot, and the Chile con Queso or Queso Flameado are great. The five street tacos on the appetizer menu are the best. Service is always spot on, quick and friendly, with plenty of seating and a feel at home ambiance. Pete's Tako House is a favorite Mexican restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch, and is highly recommended for a tasty meal in San Antonio, offering a great atmosphere and charm. It is also recommended for your next catering event.
