That was the best bacon & egg tacos I've had in a long time. Generous portions, delicious tortilla, fresh salsa, very reasonably priced, friendly staff, and an overall cool vibe. My new favorite place. 😃
Great food and amazing service!
This is my favorite breakfast taco spot. Out of the several places that I have tried, this spot is hard to beat. Unfortunately, its just soo far for me to stop by and buy some since I live in Castroville. In 6 years since I lived here, I was only able to dine in, twice. And in those times, the service was subpar. Which is a disappointment since the food is absolutely stellar. 5/5 stars. Thats why the service only got 2 stars.

Pete's Tako House offers a nostalgic diner setting near downtown and The Alamo. The beef and chicken fajitas are fantastic, and the prices are modest. The flour tortillas are a little bit different than others, fluffy clouds of goodness with a melt in your mouth taste. The menudo and refried beans are highlights. Breakfast tacos, especially the chorizo and eggs, are a favorite. The Barbacoa served on weekends is also highly praised. Complementary chips & salsa always hit the spot, and the Chile con Queso or Queso Flameado are great. The five street tacos on the appetizer menu are the best. Service is always spot on, quick and friendly, with plenty of seating and a feel at home ambiance. Pete's Tako House is a favorite Mexican restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch, and is highly recommended for a tasty meal in San Antonio, offering a great atmosphere and charm. It is also recommended for your next catering event.
