“Boudin balls were okay. These were crispy on the outside but hard to cut into bc they were so moist and chewy. I like mine dryer on the inside. The Dirty Rice is the best I've ever had. It's filthy good!! The Crawfish Ettoufee and Mac n Cheese were good. Everyone on staff was very friendly and attentive! Next time, I want to try a seafood boil.“
“I visited because Bayseas Catfish House was said to have the best southern fried catfish in San Antonio. The restaurant was empty of customers during my visit. I ordered the fried catfish. It was delicious. And the service I received was Great.“

“Ma Harper’s Gumbo is always delicious.It is very tasty and flavorful. Cornbread is moist and good. Fried pork chop is a good size. It’s was not dry it was moist cook to perfection.Service is great. Atmosphere is very welcoming.Ma Harper always greets us with her smile and makes us laugh. She is a kind hearted person.“

“Customer service was great. KT (or TK - I can't remember) went above and beyond. Dined in and ordered 2 Smack Packs. 10/10. Everything was so flavorful. My only recommendation would be to cook the veggies for the rice a little longer so they're not as crunchy. Margaritas were good and strong. The whole menu looks fire, and I can't wait to try the seafood boil next.“
“It's been a couple years since I've been here since I live in DFW, but I have made the drive with just to eat here before. I would give it 10 stars if possible. The many times I've been here, I've never tried anything I didn't love. The atmosphere is like a much much less commercialized cracker barrel but with a wide open, spacious dining area. Tables are generally spaced so you're not bumping into or eavesdropping on other diners. Great great place!“

The portion size and quality of the food is always the same GREATNESS ..,Which is really impressive for small businesses owners (I’m assuming) I really can’t say enough good things . I rarely leave reviews but they deserve recognition.“
“We went there for crab and definitely got crab! We waited for 30 min being that it was 5 pm on Saturday night. We got a margarita flight and all of them were tasty,but a little pricey. You got 4 small mason jars for $20 ish dollars. My friend and I split a boil. I liked that you could choose the seasoning and heat. We got calamari for an app, it was alright kinda chewy, but the sauce it came with was fire! My boyfriend got the redfish and he said it was super dry and the rice and veggies it came with were bland. Our boil was great we got crab, sausage, shrimp, potato, and corn. I loved the flavor. They took a bit to bring us bibs and gloves and once they did we dug in but they were out of crab crackers. They said they’d bring them when some were clean, but never did. So we used our forks (might have gotten bent them by the time we were done but oh well) our bill was $144. I might go back if I’m feeling a crab boil, but otherwise meh.“

“This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Ashley was our server. 5 stars from beginning to end. This place is very well ran. Everyone pays attention to detail. Every time something was brought to the table, something was taken away.We started off with the seafood fondue. It was wonderful. I got the chicken picata. I had intended on going Cajun, but I have a soft spot for chicken picata done right and this was! My wife had the shrimp and grits, so I did get to eat a little Nalins flavor, which it had in spades.“

“Stopped in here for a catfish lunch and was pleased for sure. We started with the chicken and sausage gumbo. It was decently flavorful with a lot of heartiness and not just rice. I got the blackened catfish with redbeans and rice. Catfish was really good but the redbeans could've used a little flavor. My wife got the jambalaya and it was good and filling. They bring enough for 3 meals. Service was outstanding.“
