“Food was so good!! We ordered through favor and we are so impressed not trying to say we are good critics but we are super picky. This met and exceeded our expectations. Crab meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only gumbo I’ve ever had better was at NOLA and it was 25$ for a bowl. Here it’s 5$ and out of this world!!! Would love to compliment owner in person.“

“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! Thank You For Everything !!“

“I work nearby and my friends and I are regulars. I have never been disappointed here. The staff know us by name, they know our usual orders, and they are an integral part of why this place is one of our favorites. Then there's the food; yum, delicious, amazing, wow, and oh yeah!“

“This clean establishment has the BEST fried catfish! The fish was fried to flaky perfection. The onion rings were all in tact and not broken. If you’re a fan of crinkle cut fries then you’ll be excited to have these crispy fries. The CORNBREAD is amazing!! If I could give more stars I would! I’ll definitely be going back! The staff is super friendly and welcoming even tho it was close to closing time. I can’t wait to try more menu items.“

“At first I was a bit shook when the girl said it was $92 for 2 phos, 2 awesome noodles and 1 basket but then the food came out. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. The cook gets 5 stars bc he made it worth it, (last time our portions weren’t this big). My son kept eating off of all our plates bc everything was just that good. We will definitely be back!! We came on a Monday evening just for reference.“

“We’ve been enjoying Smashin Crab for a while, and even though it’s a bit pricy, (it is seafood, after all!) it’s usually worth it. We love the shrimp, sausage, and clams. Just a heads up though the clams run out pretty often. We always go with level one spice otherwise it’s too spicy for us. The real standout is the sauce! It’s perfect for making fried rice afterward. Just mix in sesame oil and seasoned seaweed, and it’s delicious. This time though they gave us a smaller portion of sauce which wasn’t quite enough to make our fried rice like usual. Usually, they’re generous with it so hoping they’ll bring that back.“

The hurricane is very good, it's made with 151 rum and balanced well with fruit punch, plus you can keep the glass if you wish to do so.
The vibe here when I went was totally chill, people hanging out, having a good time

“I got fried shrimp, oysters, and catfish, with dirty rice. The rice was unpalatable. I don't understand why restaurants, other than Asian or Mexican, use such a low quality rice. And it wasn't really dirty rice, just cooked in broth. The shrimp and catfish were very good. The oysters not so much. The dip they give with the bread is stellar.“

“Among the very best fried chicken I’ve had in my 13+ years living in the Austin area. Simply fantastic! Everything was great - 2-piece mix, cajun tenders, boudin, jambalaya and the honey butter biscuits. Highly recommend!“

“Food was good! I had etouffee and gf had Chicken Piccata - both delicious. No sides included, and not inexpensive but times are tough all over, cutting corners - I get it. Interior seems a bit run-down; not dirty/smelly or anything but in need of some upkeep. Place was practically empty at 7 PM on a weeknight, so not sure what is going on there but I would revisit and hope they are still around.

“Come early if you want to find parking, other than that, it will be hard. All bartenders are super sweet. I wanted to to watch the game and she nicely change it for us to watch. Love the atmosphere ? but as a margaritas expert ,margaritas are not to try ??“

“We were here in May 2023, really enjoyed ourselves, and decided to try the Gondola ride and the Sky Bistro restaurant for lunch in December. It had snowed and the views were crisp and breathtaking from the Sky Bistro. You will find the Sky Bistro to be fine dining. Excellent customer service. Well-prepared cuisine. Excellent wine list. You will find the Gondola ride, walking steps, terrace view and restaurants to be well worth the trip.“
