The Magpie offers a diverse menu featuring Korean, French-inspired, and Texan cuisines, using high-quality ingredients and serving generous portions. Guests can watch the cooking process at the bar, adding to the dining experience. The restaurant is praised for its delicious and hip yet down-to-earth atmosphere. Customers have enjoyed the pork belly, mushroom courses, and the corn fritter, which has a surprising spicy kick. The ribeye is tender, cooked to perfection, and the bread is moist and delicious. While the small space can get a bit loud, the food and service make it a worthwhile experience. The Magpie is considered a local classic spot, with innovative and consistently delicious dishes, including the ribeye and orecchiette. The intimate dining atmosphere and good service contribute to an overall lovely experience, though the dining room can be quite loud.
