“I have never actually seen people at a sonic truly hustle before. These people are literally power-walking/running orders out while also taking orders on headsets. There was a little wait for food, but I've waited so much longer at a fully staffed sonic with very few customers. Im pretty sure there are 2-3 people working the whole store on 10/2/2023 at 3:30pm. They are obviously looking for staff, as hiring signs are everywhere, but this sonic gets it.“
“Every time my family and I order from here everything is honestly fresh and made correctly, we haven’t encountered a problem. I use the mobile app most of the time, I mean, who doesn’t want half price drinks?!. The employees are always super helpful and a tentative. “I came to this sonic for the first time today for lunch . The lady who took my order was extremely professional, and kind. Food was quick to be done . My only issues was that the runners were pretty lazy, professional but lazy. I asked for some condiments and apparently that means hide inside and not come back out. All in all though, one of the best sonic experiences I have had.“

“It’s been better in the past but they have always been really slow on service. Believe they are understaffed and the deserts and hot dogs are always amazing. Sometimes the fries and tots can be hit or miss but when they are good they are great! Worth a stop if you are craving a sweet treat and have time but hopefully they will dial in some of the weaker areas of service over time.“
“I'm mainly talking about the one at 7902 Culebra.I'm in love with the Strawberry Slush Float from here. I think they do a better job making it at this one. I'll drive past my closest sonic just to come here for this drink. it's perfect for this hot weather....some ice cream, some slush, some fruit pieces and it is delivered to my car with a smile. “I would like to personally thank this sonic for saving Red Birders from certain death via cardiac arrest. I was concerned that people were literally trying to eat themselves to death by putting chili on random items like Motz sticks or popcorn chicken, but this sonic really pulled through and laid down the law. Now if only someone could inform them that the people leaving Polanco have the ride away when leaving the neighborhood when the light is green. And when their light is red, it means don't go.“

“A smaller Sonic, less drive-in slots. I ordered on the app early, like always, but when I got there it was just stuck on "in the kitchen" status. This isn't the Sonic I normally go to, but since I had placed the order on the app a good 10-12 mins before I arrived, I wasn't expecting to pull and see that it was in the kitchen being made for another 10-12 mins. I finally just pushed the red button, and someone said it would be coming right out... and it did. So it was all fine I guess, just a little slow considering I put the order in a while before I showed up.“

“This is the BEST sonic I have ever been too and I have been going here for 20 years the managers are awesome. Like marya today was just like her GM so helpful and thoughtful and so customer service loving, this is rhe best feeling ever to be treated with so much happiness and care. The GM was super awesome the last two times I visited here. Unlike the GM off of patranco west of 1604 that guy was so rude I asked him to put the num 15 tator totes on the side and he said none or inside, so I left and never going back there again. “It was a brisk 72 degrees outside when my partner and I rolled into the stalls at Sonic. Accompanied by a "Texas Lawmen Security" vehicle, we wrapped our minds around the vast menu and came to a conclusion. One large Cherry Limeade (a staple of the franchise) and one medium sweet tea with lemon. We pressed the red button and in seconds were greeted with a pleasant voice over the intercom requesting our order. After taking the time to hear our drinks she asked the standard "Is there anything else I can get for you?". We then threw her a last second curveball... "Actually", we replied, "Can we get a large bag of ice?" Usually this would be an odd request at a fast food establishment, but this was a Sonic. With grace she replied, "Okay, and is there anything else?" My partner and I were stunned. Never had we seen such a peculiar request handled like a seasoned veteran, especially in a drive thru. Three minutes is all it took from conception of craving to tasting, with a wumbo bag of ice to make it all the better. Thank you sonic... we won't forget you.“

“I've had past problems with this sonic, like me placing an order on the app and the employees later not taking it to me and even closing early at the same time while I'm still there outside waiting.. I honestly thought the same thing was gonna happen to me when I went this time but an employee there, I think her name was Sarah, handheld things pretty well for the night shift. Even some dude got off his truck from the drive thru line to complain and I immediately thought "yea that ain't gonna fix stuff buddy lmao". I still got my order and it was complete. Management could use some improvement..Edit: ok well, this place got better in terms of management from a year after making this review, however I feel like they can work on maintenance as well. Went to pick up my order after placing it on the app and the girl comes out telling us in a shaky voice that their ice cream machine was broken and has gotten yelled at for it several times and honestly it's not her fault, it's upper management for not handling it asap especially when she has a full line of cars to explain that to. The employee's name is Star according to the screen outside and she hustled bacc and forth and offered us replacement drinks for our shakes and some sides. “I went to take advantage of the 99 cents mozzarella sticks. We went to the drive-thru and we went to the window they said they dropped the fresh batch for us. We asked for barbecue sauce and they said they didn't have any but before we drove off they stopped us and said they had some that they use in the back that they would be able to give us. This girl was so sweet and I saw she went above and beyond just to make us happy and I wish I knew her name to give her that credit. You know who you are and thank you very much you made our day. There's not very many gems like you around.“

“We usually go through the drive-thru but we decided to park. We ordered and received our food within a few minutes. When we ordered we asked for ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. The person that was taking our order was either confused why we asked for these items or they just weren't paying attention. The car hop came up to vehicle with no smile or greeting. She gave the bags and drinks as fast as she could. We asked where the condiments were? She brought everything but ketchup. She went back in got it and we asked her for napkins. She looked so annoyed with us more than ever. Well if you check what was suppose to go into the bag in the first place we wouldn't have to ask for anything. The food was nice, hot, and delicious.“

Tips should not be expected as a server. But good service deserves recognition (whatever we can afford). My ONLY complaint is that the cashier asked if we wanted our change back because it was just over 50 cents. I don't think it is good customer service to assume a customer doesn't want their change or even ask that, even if it's only a penny. Always assume the customer wants their change, if they don't want it, they will tell you.“

“The quality of the milkshakes were 100% good, and the employee I had contact with was very friendly considering they were working hard!!!!! The reason I gave only 4 stars is because none of the stalls were opened and only the drive through was being used. It took my dad and I around 40 minutes to order and receive our milkshakes. It was great that they didn't make them until we had gotten to the window so they weren't melted. There were approximately 10 cars ahead of us so it was a lot of gas used up for the vehicle to be in line.
