Panda Express in San Antonio

“I usually go through the drive thru, but every time I go the employees are genuinely nice at the window! And the food is fresh & good 95% of the time. I can tell when I get the bottom of the barrel orange chicken lol. But it’s still good. Anyways I hope the great service stays the same here. Thank you!!“

“I did not go to Panda Express because the toilets were staging a full rebellion. Nothing says authentic dining adventure like plumbing drama before the orange chicken.

From what I saw through the window, the food looked ready for greatness while the restroom looked ready for a plumber with battle experience. The smell outside was doing its own interpretation of “Kung Pao.”

Five stars for honesty, effort, and the unforgettable experience of deciding to eat somewhere else.“

“If there is someone out there that doesn't like Panda Express, I do not want to know them.

Panda Express is the McDonald's of Chinese food. Their American Chinese cuisine taste much better than they charge for it.

They seem to do much of their business as take out rather than dine in. You can eat here, but I usually just take it home with me. That explains the three stars.

Go there with a friend or take some of Panda Express home with you...it's not expensive and it's a lot better than a burger!“

“Always fresh, always a smile on the CO workers faces. The new manager is a gem and good leader. Is your mad it takes long it's because like 20 people in line and it's being made fresh. There's a Popeyes across the street, I'm sure they'll give you a premade sitting under the warmer within a minute“

“This location is very clean and well run. The staff is very attentive and fast. The shift lead when we ate there was great. For fast food Chinese, Panda is very good. This was my second visit with my 90 year old dad and he loves it. Even their iced tea is very good.“

“If you are looking for a fast in and out food to take home, I would stop here. I stop here in the evenings and there's usually no waiting to order. Just expect some items not being available or you could wait a few minutes for what you want.“

“I had never really got to Panda Express until I started working on base since then I am there at least once a week. The food is always hot and fresh and the employees are super friendly and welcoming. Reina and Kassandra are the best a few days ago I forgot to request one of the sides I always ask for and they both remembered and asked me if I still wanted it. I was really impressed that they remembered what I get because my lunch wouldn't have been the same without it. I would highly recommend this location if you have base access.“

“I mean how can you go wrong with panda express. It’s your average Chinese food meal. I really enjoy the noodles and the fried rice in the orange chicken and everything in between. Most people go here and usually just get a bowl but I like getting the to go orders so if you’re just here for a quick meal then the bowl is perfect but I recommend the shrimp or the teriyaki and I usually change between those two with also orange again because it’s just perfect.“

“I was looking forward to my orange chicken and fortune cookie all day. when i got my food and opened my cookie, there was NO FORTUNE inside. i am so sad and conflicted about what this could mean. i just wanted my fortune…. 🥠“

“I go during my lunch hour (which is early) bc it is close, but it depends on who is working. I have had a younger hispanic male help me twice and he was not very professional. I understand if they are not having a good day, but the two interactions I have had with him were enough to not make me come back. I know stores don’t always keep the same staff so I went back a month or two later and an older gentleman helped me. He was kind, energetic, and didn’t make me feel like i had to buy anything else. Food was great(for panda), and I left feeling welcome and not like a bother. Which the other worker definitely made me feel like I should not come back. I do not create a fuss or make faces bc I know yall are just as tired or more than all of us. Food has always been consistent, but certain staff make you wait 10 mins before ordering because I assume they are doing online orders. None of that was ever communicated with me if that was the reason. I would like communication going forward if there is a customer at your ordering line that they are doing mobile orders, instead of just ignoring us. To be clear, only the male hispanic maybe five five? has done that each time. He never says hi, never says i’m working on an order, just eye contact, and clear panic while working on orders. Panic meaning, not caring abt the person in front of you and getting orders done. I understand if you are understaffed or overworked on orders, but just say you’ll be a few mins. I wasted 10 mins when I could have gone to subway and have my order made.“

“Fast drive thru lunch specials with patient cashiers. The chicken with mushrooms and noddles is delicious with cheese rangoons. Chow mein with chicken mushroom is one of my favorites. Ruben did a great job serving plates and cooking delicious foods. The fruit drinks are a must. Friendly & fast service. Great lunch & dinner specials, highly recommended.“

“We came in almost closing one of the employees said they were closed but the manager came to the door and said for us to come in I understand I work in the industry but my wife is 8 months pregnant and this made our day she treated us so nice and everything was made fresh she deserves props cause she gots ours we will be back sry I didn't catch your name“

“When I tell you these workers were so positive and caring the service was amazing the way they handled the rush of the customer with a smile and keeping the food stock is a major cheers the manager was not just standing there he was in the kitchen working right with them now that is what I called a good team“

“I went under the presumption that this would probably not be a great experience because of the star rating but I was completely wrong. We ordered 3 plates and a big order of rangoons. “I came in tonight pretty late to closing should’ve expected It might not be the most peak time to order. But even still, I called just to see if I could get maybe half a scoop to fill my Beijing beef, but the manager Stephanie went above and beyond making me feel like it was important to her.
