“La Canterra location. Gabriel was our server and was outstanding. His recommendations were perfect. He explained every dish he brought out. Ask for him. Being from Spain and cooking paella and making tapas, the food at Toro is authentic and wonderful. I have eaten at many “Spanish” restaurants thru out the US and this has been my favorite! “We were a party of six. Four of us were there for the first time. Our server was patient as we took our time trying to decide from the many great selections. Her suggestions were spot! The food and drinks were delicious!! The paella was hands down the best I've ever had. There's a wide selection of tapas to chose from and the ones we selected did not disappoint. When our server found out we were there to celebrate two birthdays, she surpised us with a slice of cake and a tall sparkling candle. All the staff came out and sang happy birthday. We'll definitely be back!“

“This was a wonderful find! Has the chicken and asada tacos, and they were some of the yummiest I’ve tried in San Antonio so far. It tasted like what I grew up with, and the tortillas tasted homemade. Service was friendly and sweet, I’ll definitely come here more often.“
