“La Canterra location. Gabriel was our server and was outstanding. His recommendations were perfect. He explained every dish he brought out. Ask for him. Being from Spain and cooking paella and making tapas, the food at Toro is authentic and wonderful. I have eaten at many “Spanish” restaurants thru out the US and this has been my favorite! “I have tried almost everything on the menu and I think there was maybe one thing I didn’t like bc it just wasn’t my preference. But everything I have eaten there is DELICIOUS!!! Their pancakes! Milkshakes, carne asada fries! I heart ceviche! Tacos!!!!! The queso…..One of my favorite dishes is the enchiladas verdes. Their hot sauce is 🔥!!!!Wow!!!!! I love this place! Ive literally been there 3 times this week! lol“

“I’ve come a few times for their night markets. I haven’t had a full meal here but I do get the appetizers when I’m shopping and I love the kushi sampler. My husband and I split it and it’s easy to eat walking around. Always look forward to going when I can!“

“We were a party of six. Four of us were there for the first time. Our server was patient as we took our time trying to decide from the many great selections. Her suggestions were spot! The food and drinks were delicious!! The paella was hands down the best I've ever had. There's a wide selection of tapas to chose from and the ones we selected did not disappoint. When our server found out we were there to celebrate two birthdays, she surpised us with a slice of cake and a tall sparkling candle. All the staff came out and sang happy birthday. We'll definitely be back!“

“It’s not bad for what it is – a hotel bar/lounge. Nice roomy, comfortable place to hang around and lounge in.
Good customer service, plenty of drinks to choose from and at least 6 beers on tap – including a couple of local brews. Top shelf, middle shelf, under the counter liquors all available here.
They don’t open until 5pm, so if you’re looking for a spot to do some day drinking, this ain’t it!
I wish I had more to say about it, but hotel bars just aren’t that fun or eventful for that matter. No offense to the proprietors of the W XYZ Bar of course.“

“We drove there from Austin just to eat there. The food was definitely delicious. The only thing I can say is that the service was slow, and we had to remind them for my mom’s drink. Aside from that everything else was great. As a Puerto Rican we have been looking for a true Puerto Rican restaurant. We will definitely go again. It’s worth the money you pay. We had the pork job that Guy from food network loved. Very filling.“

“The place is nice to chill at and has very good Mexican food despite it being a local fast food chain. The menu is small so don't expect much from here but you can bet that they're good. So far, I am convinced that Mexican food in San Antonio is even better than the ones from Houston so while Las Palapas may look like a tourist trap chain, it's worth checking out. They even have bars too if you're wanting to watch sports or grab a margarita.“
