Jamie did an outstanding job guiding my parents and I through the menu. Food and ambiance was outstanding
The food was amazing, it caters to all senses
Service was notably slow for an early saturday evening at about 50% capacity. My food took a long time to come and our server never acknowledged it or provided an explanation even as they brought my dinner mate's food. I ordered from the $55 three course menu and the portions of the first two dishes were significantly smaller than the same items from the regular menu. The 3rd dish appeared to be full sized and that along with the dessert are what saved the meal.

The restaurant offers sushi, sashimi, yakitori: all spectacular and interesting. The octopus is spectacular, tender and accompanied with an interesting fried rice.
The knowledgeable and attentive staff provide excellent recommendations for both food and sake choices, ensuring a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance, with its unique style of vintage vinyl playing throughout and service, creates a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. The drinks were unique as well, especially the Kyoto Matcha IPA. While the dining room is reserved for guests 18 and above, the patio seating offers a different but still pleasurable vibe.
The vegetable tempura and wagyu with matcha soba are highly recommended dishes. Yozora is a fine dining establishment that is definitely worth a visit for those seeking an exceptional Japanese culinary experience.
