“First time dining at Fish City Grill at 7010 W Loop 1604 N and could not have been happier with the food, service and all-around experience. My wife and I were eating out on our 22nd wedding anniversary and chose this location based on the online menu and reviews. She had the blackened cobia tacos on the special of the day menu and I had the fried seafood platter. Both were excellent as was the shrimp and crab queso appetizer. In addition, our waiter brought us a free sampler that included the roasted jalapeno soup, crab bisque, clam chowder and gumbo. All were delicious. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive throughout our meal and presented us with a 20% off coupon for our next visit. We were surprised that the place was not more crowded than it was on a Saturday evening, because the food and overall experience should be attracting a big clientele. Again, thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience. And for anyone thinking about visiting, don't hesitate. You're missing a great meal at a very reasonable price.“

“I get so excited when we stop here. I will not eat a fried fish sandwich anywhere else. EVER. It's amazing, always the same, always fried perfectly, never have I had a complaint. The only thing I would give a heads up on is the dining room has probably seen better days. Super clean, nothing fancy, you can just tell they have been doing this for a while. Lol still 5 stars for me! Can not replicate the tartar sauce!“

“The food, the food, FOOD! I LOVE the catfish it is cooked to perfectly and the gumbo better than any of the several places I've visited in SanAntonio. If like me Louisiana or Carolinas is family home-base then l'd say 3.5, it's spicy, broth is right. If atmosphere helps your food go down order To-go! The location and interior will make you question it could use sprucing!“

“They have the best fried chicken. The skin is crispy and the jalapeños are marinated perfectly! Owner is really friendly, ordered a 8pcs chicken with fries and 2 teas and it was $20. Someone made a big order and didnt pick it up so they gave us 15pcs instead at no extra charge! Health department rating of 98/100 - may look rough on the outside but its what is on the inside that counts. Quality food at Quality prices.“

“This place is amazing! I went with a group so I was able to try a lot of things on the menu and everything I had was top notch! Great selection of wines and beers. Fun environment that’s fancy enough for a date but chill enough to bring kids. Loved everything about the place!“

“Fish and shrimp were hot and fresh. Fries were limp and Luke warm. Price is fair, but one packet of tartar sauce for 3 slices of fish is a bit ridiculous. Still nostalgic.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step you have to watch out for upon entrance. Handicap parking is on the side of the building. I would NOT consider this establishment to be wheelchair friendly.“
