The crew here in the afternoon is really great. The woman at the counter is very nice and welcoming. As long as service food and prices stay great, people who never tried Fred's will know what's up. So good!
Well as we all know Fred's fish are slowly closing down here in the south side they only exist in the north side we have one here in the south side and let me tell you when we were little my grandmother loved Fred's fish every Friday and especially during Lent. I pray to my God that they will make a comeback and open up more Fred's fish here in the south side. Just like elder eats, one of the iconic spots in south San antonio. I have totally forgot about this place. A staple of tradition in quality, hot food made to order and cold drinks ( sodas) that is. Simple item menu and very very reasonable on prices and variety of food selections to choose from. You can dine in or take out which majority of its customers do or even drive thru.
