“It has a great atmosphere. You can’t tell from the outside but love the vibe. Seems pretty clean in there . The food is really good with a capital G . The ghee with goat and garlic naan is so good you’d slap your mamma. The lamb chops were good the bone. I may of ate some of the bone. Butter chicken my bro had . He said it was very good. I’ve not had some more of the menu. It was all good I’d give them a 8 1/2 . If you knew me , that a great rating from me. I have a line of people that will tell you how picky I am. I told the gentleman I said you’re gonna get a good tip because it was so good. The server said he’d rather have us just give the restaurant a rating. It’s truly a hole in the wall with a good atmosphere and clean, and some really good Indian food. Thanks !! This rating was well deserved“

“First time we have been and it was for my son’s birthday. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Even being a party of 8 and arriving at different times. They were still kind, helpful and very gracious. Every single one of us loved their food, it was out of this world great. Thank you Himalayan Kitchen for making our dinner party wonderful.“

“What do I recommend about Tarka??? Literally everything! It’s fast, delicious and they make ordering online and pickup a breeze. My only complaint? They’re not in North TX so I have to drive down to Austin or Houston for it. Have I done so? Yes! Is it worth it? Yes! But I would eat Tarka more often it there was one up here.“

“Really enjoyed the food here! We tried the ghee idli, bonda, and puri everything was flavorful and tasted great. The ghee idli and puri were especially good. The only small thing was the bonda was not as soft as expected, but the taste was still delicious. Overall, a great place for Indian food and definitely recommend trying it!“

“recently tried this Indian food in San Antonio, and it was absolutely worth it. I had the chicken sandwich and the goat kheema Frankie both were amazing and full of flavor. Definitely must-try items!

“My family loves this place. Their goat curry is truly the GOAT. Meat is tender and fall off the bone. They offer fresh naan to the table which the kids love. They have a great selection. I wanted to get a little bit of everything - and I almost did! I love that they have their buffets for dinner too. Not sure if that’s changed for other days of the week, but we were craving Indian buffet on a Sunday night and this was the only known place for dinner buffets. I usually don’t like to go to restaurants twice unless they are a hit, and this one is a hit!“

“This is my first review for Pavani Express. I had a to go order yesterday comprising of Goat Biriyani, Goat curry and Chicken 65. One of the best meals I have had in recent times in San Antonio. Everything was made to order, super fresh. The biriyani was really flavorful, goat curry was complex and a very authentic chicken 65. Being a foodie, cook and world traveller, I can absolutely vouch for how tasty everything was. The best part in my opinion, and as it appears from their cooing style, most of the dishes tasted unique and not merely made out of store bought premade box spices. Will be back again. Hope they keep up their quality of food.“
