“My friend and I recently switched our coffee dates to this location due to construction on 1604 and holiday insanity (we normally meet at the La Cantera Starbucks). We have been to this location at NW Military and Wurzbach Pky twice and it has been really lovely. The staff is friendly, efficient and very courteous. “Every single barista I've ever encountered at this location has gone above and beyond to be not just kind but compassionate. I often work really early mornings, so if I want any semblance of caffeine from a store, it needs to be quite early. I often come in expecting people to be a bit grumpy due to the crack-of-dawn hours I run, but instead I'm always greeted here with a smile, a compliment, or a lovely greeting. It makes my day instead of breaking it. Orders have always been timely and efficient. Sometimes, the baristas on duty even let me know the best time to order certain drinks or treats based on the traffic flow. I feel very fortunate to be able to frequent and dine here. Walking in during the afternoon, there is a wonderful hush that falls around the area - perfect for those looking for a quiet study. Definitely an oasis in the hot summer months. “I want to thank the District Manager & General Manager here at this Starbucks location @ Fredericksburg Rd. & W.Hildebrand. Across directly from HEB. I was to meet my sis at her home not far from this location. I chose to surprise my sis with a drink. I arrived and walked in immediately greeted. Rose & Abbey were extremely busy. As was Michelle & Mercedes. I observed how quickly they filled orders, politely working together not trying to get in each others way. They were quickly filling orders, and the 4 ladies were extremely busy. I didn't wait 3 minutes. Placed my order to Rose. Rose was polite, gracious, friendly, kind and a good listener. Abbey was in control very effectively with the drive thru. Excellent customer service recognition to these hard working ladies. All 4 ladies are an ASSET to this location. “On June 26, 2020, at around 2:25 P.M. I waited in a long line to get my tall Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. As soon as I had left the drive-thru window and reached for a sip of my drink, I realized it was the wrong drink. What I had in my hand was a simple mocha Frappuccino. Not what I wanted. I called the store to explain my situation and promptly returned. Three employees went out of their way to apologize and make things right. One of the employees greeted me graciously and apologetically and said that my correct drink was being made already. The young lady who had taken my order apologized for the wrong drink. And a third employee happily made my Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino with love, as she stated. And I believe it! Not only was the Frappuccino delicious, but the customer service from all of them was spectacular and surprisingly touching. They all seemed very happy to be working at Starbucks and it showed in how they treat their customers. “Holidays at Starbucks are never easy. Even less so for the stores located within malls. The crew today was super busy, customers were lined up inside as well as outside. Nevertheless the crew was providing outstanding customer service, maintaining customer areas and the bar clean, pumping out the drinks and food, and consistently communicating to ensure flow and that they didn't run into each other with the pace they were keeping up. I especially want to recognize Ms. Han. She had the hot bar to herself but didn't let up and didn't let herself get frustrated. She had a mask on but despite that, you could see the smile in her eyes as she greeted and handed off drinks to customers. “I was recently passing through San Antonio for 10 days on my travels and had the fortune of being close to Starbucks 801 San Pedro San Antonio. As I am a coffee lover this was immediately my hangout!From the fantastic warmth and efficiency of the team to the superb coffee my daily visits became a ritual. “08/31/22 Got here about 10am today. I was the only customer for a while. I ordered a small Americano and the sausage, egg, cheese muffin sandwich. So tasty. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches have never disappointed. Lemon cake, yum! And I learned something today. Kind of. I may have to ask for further explanation, but it sounded like if I remain in the store area with my coffee, I can get a refill for $0.54 or free with the app. Anyway, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Morning people for sure. The line was getting long by 11am. A lot of folks order through the app and their orders are ready at the counter when they arrive. Pretty cool. Go there.“

Long story short, my car broke down and I was stuck waiting out in the rain. I'm also 6months pregnant and was very emotional. I didn't want to wait inside without ordering anything and upon approaching the counter, the manager immediately asked if I was okay, I told her my situation but that I was okay and placed my order. She didn't accept my payment and offered me a hug and to add to the kindness and generosity, one of the staff brought over a ham croissant warmed up for me. “This was a great standard Starbucks stop. Not too much parking though in the space it shares with a Mediterranean grill and a Dental office. Entering the parking lot may not be straight forward if you are taking a left off of Babcock. They'll put the cream and sugar in the coffee for you here even when you go into the store. They offer indoor and outdoor seating as well as free wifi. I've seen people with their doggos here, outside ofcourse. The staff were friendly and I would definitely come by again. I left when someone started playing a game on their phone out loud next to me which was rude on their part and not the fault of the store.“

However, I like my coffee served with some geat...and a barister with a shot of adrenaline (or two) would not only measure up, he or she would provide, by default, the atmosphere lacking. “Okay I'm a Door Dash Driver. I'm in and out of many places each month, last year's monthly average was 232 places a month and I took almost a month off. So why am I shorting service here by one star.I was there at the counter waiting for about four minutes, then two different Baristas asked who I was there for.. Several more minutes pass then I'm told "Somebody had picked it up and if they didn't press pickup it was their fault but it was already made and picked up." Like I was supposed to know this..I told them politely that I'd inform our support group. They had me assure their payment would be taken care of and to please remake the order so I could deliver it. They did with attitude but I remained calm.. And the customers were happy Starbucks got paid twice and I just did my job. No dissing the workers but they need to revamp how they do things their way while we are being told to use a code only we have. Instead of writing the peoples name in the bag and letting it sit there.“
