Based on the reviews, The Station Cafe is a busy place but absolutely worth any possible wait. Renowned for their sandwiches and pizza, the bread is soft, warm, and fresh. A favorite sandwich is The Thai Fighter, which has a house made Thai curry sauce on tender toast beef with fresh greens. Another suggestion for those who love spicy is the Habanero turkey sandwich, and there is also the turkey chupacabra with a Serrano sauce. They have a great Greek salad with delicious balsamic vinaigrette for only $4, and a corn chowder soup which is perfect for rainy weather. Their desserts are also amazing, including a perfect chocolate cake. The atmosphere has awesome art everywhere, decorated tables, and classic chairs. They now have outdoor seating and allow dogs only on the patio. The staff is great and very kind. They are open Monday-Friday, and it is worth the 15-20 minute walk from downtown hotels.
