Excellent doughnuts for a snack or quick breakfast in a nice old building. The service is unbeatable with friendly people at the shop. Shipley’s is so much better than the other options downtown and low-key. A little more advertising might help attract customers walking downtown, although they seem to sell out usually anyway.
This is a real deal old school doughnut shop. No inside seating, but there are benches outside. Great for grab and go. Nice selection. One disappointment was my wife's maple bar was cream filled, but wasn't marked that way. It was a bit too sweet for her. They have a nice selection of old fashioned cake doughnuts, which is awesome. A must try if you are hankering for some sweet treats.
