“I was looking for a boudin kolache and found one here. It was delicious but while I was there a spinach feta croissant caught my eye. It was so delicious I'm sorry I didn't buy more!

“The kolache breakfast sandwich is where it's at!! Oh and the filled donuts, blueberry is my favorite but the other fruit filings are just as delicious. Also, try the kolache sandwich with some jam like the blueberry jalapeño jam from Buc-ees), you won't regret it!!“

“Everybody knows that Shipley’s beats the pants off of fancy Dunkin Donuts. This location is one of the first in San Antonio. No. It’s not cool or hip, but the donuts are plentiful, fresh and delicious. The kolaches are also very fresh. The service is fast, friendly, and the employees were eager to please and very thoughtful in packing and labeling my large order for the office. The location is old, but very clean and on my way to work. Make them your go-to place today!“

“I’m not sure the name of the woman who always helps me at the counter but she is absolutely fantastic! Literally pleasant enough that I whipped out my phone and I’m writing a review at the counter while she gets my items. I’m a Houston native so I love Shipleys and this is my little slice of home right across the street from me!“
