“After a disappointing visit to a kolacheless Shipley’s Donuts, my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try. We called ahead to ensure the presence of kolaches and were delighted to hear they were in abundance here. When we arrived we were very welcomed. We were pleased that the staff were all there to speak with us about how hungry we were and our hobbies. For a small establishment, the meaning of hospitality was really felt. If I was a San Antonio native, I don’t think I’d ever get kolaches from anywhere else.“

“I hadn't gotten donuts for about 20 years but had a hankering for some Boston Cremes but when I called to see when they closed i didn't think to ask her if she had any Boston Cremes because it was close to closing time and there was a very slim selection available when I got there!!! But the little lady that was working there all by herself was so nice that it made up for the slim selection and I went ahead and purchased half a dozen donuts and they were just as good as Shipley's Donuts I remember from 20 years ago AND I got my military discount!!! Keep doing what you're doing Shipley's!!!“
