“Owner’s husband is a very nice man. We sat and enjoyed a great conversation together while I got to enjoy the delicious tamales. Love love love supporting mom & pop businesses. I came on a Monday or Tuesday so it was not busy at all.

I’d recommend the jalapeño & pork for spicy lovers. I will be back next time to try the beans & jalapeño. I bet it’s going to be delicious! I love the ambiance here & the tamales are definitely as homemade as it gets. 😉“

“The atmosphere was so good, and the food was even better. We came because my husband saw the Spurs combo on TV and wanted to try it, and he loved it. I ordered the quesadillas supreme and they were just as great.

The staff really stood out. It was our first time, so we took a while to order at the counter, but the woman helping us was so patient and kind the whole time. Another staff member in the dining area also had such a great vibe, constantly cleaning tables and keeping the chips bar stocked.

Safe to say we’re definitely adding this spot to our regular rotation.“

“This is the best food I have had in Leakey in my whole life of visiting here since 1974! I had the asada fries and they were perfection. The sauces were delicious, fries crispy, meat well seasoned and good quality-no chewy parts in the meat. Veggies are fresh, all of it 5 ⭐️. My husband had a burger and fries and he said it was excellent. The bun looked really good. So good we are going back for our next meal.“

“Food was delicious. Service was slow. Servers are not attentive to customers. I ordered two Barbacoa tacos and it took 20 minutes to get them. When they came they were on flour tortillas but I ordered them on corn. I didn’t get silverware or napkins. I’d go back for round two and give them a second chance to prove they are better than the service I received.“
