“We went Tuesday night and OMG! It was delish! The environment was great and staff were very friendly. They have outdoor decorations so you can take awesome Christmas pictures! It’s a must. “If you want authentic TexMex, fresh and fast, Benjamin's fills the bill. They have an extensive menu of traditional Mexican fare and a few choices of standard American dishes as well. Don't know if I could pick a favorite but since refried beans come with all Mexican dishes, I will say that theirs are very tasty.
There is a couple cons. One is their parking lot...pretty bumpy. The other is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch. I've gotten around that problem by ordering a plate to go before they close and Voila! dinner a la Benjamin's.“

“This is the best food I have had in Leakey in my whole life of visiting here since 1974! I had the asada fries and they were perfection. The sauces were delicious, fries crispy, meat well seasoned and good quality-no chewy parts in the meat. Veggies are fresh, all of it 5 ⭐️. My husband had a burger and fries and he said it was excellent. The bun looked really good. So good we are going back for our next meal.“

“As a Southside resident I was very disappointed to find out that this location doesn’t have a playground. We were driving to the one on I-10 for this same reason. We were very excited to finally have one on the SS but what a disappointment for moms. The green grassed area is open, no roof or shade.
Update: This restaurant finally added a playground after a year, and we couldn’t be happier! Even before the playground was built, we visited often because the food is always delicious and authentic. My kids absolutely love the asada mini tacos, breakfast tacos etc . which keeps them asking to come back. The new playground is a great addition and makes it even more family-friendly, but the amazing food is what has kept us coming here all along, staff are always friendly and welcome. Thank you TP!“

I have gone to every other Mexican restaurant here in San Antonio just to try the asada burritos and no one, nothing compares so far! The meat is seasoned so well and everything, even just the quesadilla is so tasty! This last time I tried the carne asada Sinceonzada (pictured. No burrito pic because I quickly inhaled it) which is like a flat 2 tortilla quesadilla topped with crema, lettuce tomato and avocado, (a plenty good amount of avocado!) and I realized I had to do a review! This place really has a special place in my heart, kudos to the chef, it has good prices too and a yummy creamy green salsa as well!“
