All the food was outstanding and the staff provided world class customer service. A hidden gem for fine dining!
The pasta bar was a welcome treat!
Happened into this place because we were passing by and it was on the way to the freeway home. Now we want to come back and stay in the hotel too! Awesome atmosphere and great food! We only had breakfast but it was all delicious, and the waitress was a very sweet and excellent server.

The Branding Iron Restaurant inside the Y O Ranch Hotel is always great. Whether for the menu or buffet, it always has something good. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The dinner buffet has several options including a first rate prime rib, a fresh salad bar with plenty of variety, and soups. Service is attentive and excellent. Guests enjoyed the smokey tenderness of the 12oz prime rib queen cut with two sides, Cesar salad and sautéed spinach. The prime rib buffet was fantastic, with tasty prime rib, veggies, roasted potatoes, and wild rice. The bread pudding with homemade whipped cream was delicious, with numerous other desserts available. The atmosphere is beautiful, like a Colorado resort, with a gorgeous Christmas tree, shoulder mounts of large game, and amazing woodwork. However, there was ZERO holiday atmosphere during one Thanksgiving feast. Some desserts like double chocolate and cheese cakes were served refrigerator cold. The restaurant is a whole vibe, like the Overlook Hotel in the Shining, but without the murderous spirits. It is a fair price considering the price of beef today.
