We have been many times. This is an excellent place to eat, any time of the day. Their service is outstanding. The food is top knotch. And the music is actually good. Hard to belive but it's true. This is a staple when it comes to eating out in Bandera.

Called in a dinner order. Burger,fried pickles, cowboy rolls?,chili, cheesecake... cowboy rolls were the bomb! Along w the cheesecake. Chili was good, needed some crackers.. when we come back thru, we will definitely stop again!

I ordered sirloin. They were out. I then ordered a pork chop with a loaded baked potato and a salad. Don't get me started on field greens for a salad, but...the meal I was served was inedible. My potato was not cooked all the way and the pork chop was NOT A PORK CHOP! It was some kind of pork formed patty. I saw our waitress tell the manager our complaints, but she chose to continue sitting at the bar instead of addressing the issue. We've eaten here before and had great food. (I have zero complaints about the service or the restaurant itself. But I came for FOOD.)
I just ordered ‘to-go’ yesterday (grilled pork chop & sea bass- both with mashed potatoes, cream gravy, & corn) and it was one of the most AMAZING meals I’ve had in years!!! I live in Bandera and cannot believe I’ve been missing out on the Best Food in town!! TJ’s is my new favorite place!!!! Wow!!
