This place was EXCELLENT! I had tuna, brussels, and loaded mashed. Sweets had to send his steak back because it wasn't hot enough. They addressed the issue quickly. I'm giving full stars anyway because mine really was that good!

The best place in Bandera to get a great meal in a small town. Tammy and Arlene have created a superb dining spot filled with great servers, great food and a cozy decor. I eat or have an adult beverage there at least once a week. You won't be disappointed.Parking: Parking in front and back.
The food is pretty good but I was really impressed by the grilled pork chop . It was nice and thick, very tender , nicely seasoned and grilled over an open flame ..... it's my new favorite . The only disappointment was the side salad , large tough stringy pieces of some kind of green , next time I'll ask if they can substitute iceberg or romaine . Also try the chicken fried steak , it never disappoints and if you want a different spin on it just ask them to replace the cream gravy with their queso sauce ?
Traveling back to South Dakota from the Rio Grande Valley. I'm looking forward to stopping next fall. Great food and friendly service. Great beer selection while we waited.

We had mushrooms for an appetizer. Chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken for our meal. All the food was good. The service was pretty good too. And orange marmalade cheese cake for dessert yum ?
Best serlion I have eaten. No need to put steak sauce on it.

The bread is bioengineered and the butter is margarine not real butter.They were out of baked potatoes but probably because they were busy from the eclipse.Ordered catfish, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a baked sweet potato.
