Worth the trip!! Took scenic drive to Bandera, and so glad we found this restaurant (1 block off Main St). Waitress was super friendly & attentive. Two of us ordered the chicken fried steak.. SOOO GOOD, crunchy & flavorful. And the mashed potatoes were DELICIOUS! Husband enjoyed the Wagyu burger & said the sweet potato fries were best he's had. Only wish we had brought some of their desserts home. We'll be back when in Bandera!
I was here a few days ago with the same group but what a difference. On Tuesday we all had great service, the food came out hot and as we ordered. Today, Sunday was a mess. The service sucked. The food came out cold and not as ordered. $4 for 3 bites of cold gouda Mac is just not right. As much as we all really enjoyed our visit earlier in the week today was horrible.

Things have changed!The food is much better. The chef has obviously changed. Service was slow, but they were very busy. The atmosphere is excellent for a small place.
Great food and drinks. Service is first class everytime we visit. Recommend the ribeye!

We are in town for two weeks and planned on eating at Trail Boss Steakhouse everyday because our past experience. We came in last night and had the worse meal ever. We ordered an appetizer that was forgotten and brought with meal. And then the grilled chicken was forgotten. When the chicken arrived I had already stopped eating my peach salad because the “ grilled” peaches were pulled from the can and put on my salad ice cold. The pistachios were stale and soft, no crunch to them. Served bread pudding and it was brought out cold…. Asked for a manager and our waiter called out the GM. She was worthless and didn’t try to make anything right. We will not be back next your establishment again. We work in the food industry and this was unacceptable.

The wife and I had an excellent experience here! The food and atmosphere were fantastic! She had the 8oz filet and I had the 12oz ribeye both cooked perfectly! That and 4 beer was $70. Great food and atmosphere at a reasonable price. 5/5

Very good food and service. You can’t beat the $3 ice cold beer. I’ve tried many a peach cobbler and theirs is at the top of the list. Say yes to the caramel drizzle!
