All the years we have traveled past his place but never eaten here, we decided to try it for dinner while in the area. This place is located right on Hwy. 16, as you enter Bandera from San Antonio on the left, in a small shopping center. We were able to park right in front. The cashier was busy when we entered so we asked about seating and were told we could sit wherever. We were there on Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. It was busy and like so many places, they were short staffed. We had to wait a bit for our meal but it was worth every second! The shrimp alfredo was superb! My Pap's salad with chicken was wonderful. We will go back whenever we are in the area. In these hard times, where help is sometimes unattainable, this family is making it work! Please support them!

We stopped by on our way through Bandera looking for hot subs. Pap’s did not disappoint. We ordered the Gyro and the Philly Cheesesteak. Both were ginormous sandwiches (we could have split) and both delicious. The service was friendly. The restaurant was clean and casual
