Originally, we wanted pizza but when we got to Bassono, the smell of the Italian food caused us to change our minds.We had veal parmesan, canneloni and the chicken with a spicy sauce.Portion size is large, food was prepared well and the rolls are delicious

It was amazing food and service. 10/10 we had meatballs/sausage/fettuccine Alfredo/eggplant Parmesan/pasta combo/salads/carrot cake and a cannoli. We will be coming in from out of town just to enjoy some more. Hit the spot after a day at Sherwood Forest Faire.
I am black, my wife is Latin, from the moment we entered there was stench of racism. With the exception of our waitress. We were stared at....the waitress rushed us to encourage us to leave unfortunately.Food was average I lived in Europe for several years and this type of treatment ruined our meal. I was treated better there than here. Just thought people should know if you know if you are black or brown. They treated as if we walk in manure before entering.....What shame, thought as a country we were better than this............

Absolutely love this place! Amazing staff! Amazing food so full of flavor, true authentic Italian food. Always super fresh and always super fast we are never there more than 30 minutes between being seated, order taken, food brought out and eating. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I have been here twice and thus far this is my favorite place and worth every penny! The portions are perfect. You can share a plate with two people! Me and my wife absolutely love this place thank yall for such an amazing experience every time! Keep up the good work!

Oh my gosh....sooo yummy!!! The chicken calabrese is so good amd they give you enough to take home for lunch the next day. The little bread knots are plump and crisp on the outside but so soft on the inside. The wait staff is nice and attentive. The atmosphere is very casual but dont let that fool you.
This will always be my favorite Italian place in Bastrop because it is nostalgic for me as I’ve lived most of my life here and I remember eating here at their old location near Tahitian Village and they still wrote paper tickets. Old fashioned as they may be in every way, sometimes even the owners personality, that’s what makes this place absolutely amazing and authentic. An inspiration as Nick has an intriguing back story on starting out in America. You should go eat and ask him to tell you about it. I hate that they are getting a little expensive but it is still worth every penny because their portions are massive! They cater as well and it is a wonderful place to take someone for any occasion- on a first date, for basically any holiday, after church etc. Please go out of your comfort zone and do NOT order fettuccine Alfredo. It’s boring and, frankly, they make it that way to please Americans. Order their special of the day! It’s usually fantastic. Try some pizza!
