“Neighbors is such a great place to dine with family and friends. Service is wonderful and food is delicious. Gabriel Culiat will definitely recommend them”
“I’ve been there many times over many years. This review isn’t based on one visit. They are friendly and consistent. The prices are fair and the quality of food is to par. They hire hard working locals that have their livelihood invested in the community. Just keep in mind that when your bill is low because of the menu prices, tipping more than the minimum keeps the employees a little less stressed in their personal lives as well as happy at work able to serve you better. Everything I’ve tried on the menu is good”

“★★★★★ ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING — BEST MEXICAN FOOD ANYWHERE If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I’ve traveled all over Texas and across the U.S., and I can say without hesitation that Las Cocinas Mexican Grill is hands-down the BEST Mexican restaurant I have ever been to — and that includes all of Austin. My family and I come here several times a week, even though we don’t live close by. That alone should tell you how incredible this place is. Must-try favorites (do NOT skip these): 🌟 The Margaritas – VERY strong and absolutely perfect. Order them half & half (half on the rocks, half frozen). Trust me — you’ll thank me later. 🌟 Nachos Al Carbon (Appetizer) – The beef fajita meat is out of this world. Tender, flavorful, and unforgettable. Get it with extra sour cream & fresh jalepenos 😉 🌟 Beef Fajitas Cremosas (Entrée) – Get them with EXTRA sun-dried tomatoes. Oh. My. God. I have never had anything like this in my life, and it’s something I crave several times a week. 🌟 Stuffed Jalapeños – So good I sometimes order them as my entire meal. And the onion rings they’re served on? Easily the best onion rings I’ve ever had anywhere. I love ordering a big plate of onion rings with extra ranch. 🏆 🌟 Cheese enchiladas!!!! They have the best Mexican rice & refried beans that I’ve ever tasted. Beyond the food, the staff is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel like family — warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy you’re there. That kind of service is rare, and it’s one of the many reasons this place is so special to us. They are family owned and operated! And yes — I always forget to take pictures of my food because I eat it before I remember to take photos for a review 😂. That should tell you everything you need to know about how good it is. We are incredibly thankful for Las Cocinas. It’s not just our favorite Mexican restaurant — it’s our favorite restaurant, period, and the best in the entire area by a mile. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect in every way.”
“Just had a chicken salad sandwich on chibatta bread. Fresh and deliciously seasoned. Thank you!”
“After being clients of Roccos for almost 4 years, last night we had a really bad experience with the owner “male”. I was 5 minutes late to pick up my order after closing time and he told me in a unfriendly tone “I put your order in the garbage” with his back turned and locking the door he said nothing else. He could’ve handled this another way, to me that was very unprofessional and I felt discriminated for being hispanic. Ourselves and other friends won’t be going back to this business.”

“I had the gyro and feta omelet after a discussion with Ryan (barista) about "keeping the menu Greek" WWOOWW!! not just so, so, so good! but so, so, so, so Greek!! -- then the dude brings me a complimentary bite of an upcoming menu item: avocado lime zest toast. I am undone. If you haven’t yet, you have to try this place!”
“Such a great anniversary dinner tonight. We were so impressed with the food, drinks and service. We will definitely be back again.”
“J.O’s Thanksgiving meal was the best!! Pick-up was convenient and reheating instructions were perfect! Smoked Turkey, dressing, and sides were delicious. Pecan pie was so good too!”

“Ordered 2 bags of Texas pecan grind 2.2lb bags of coffee. It will not disappoint y’all. The pecans can be tasted in every swig but doesn’t over power the coffee. And when I say it’s the freshest coffee possible I mean the beans in my bag were fresh roasted the day I purchased the bags. 10/10 will be buying for my work coffee from here on out.”
“We've been going here for years. When they started out in the big red building, then moved across the street to the old Shady Oaks building then to the old computer shop where they are now. Sadly the quality has continually dropped. We go for breakfast and most often the food is put on cold plates. Several times parts of the order is missing and shows up at the end of the meal. Charmaine was the head waitress for years who seemed to keep things going in order but she's no longer there.”
“This is my favorite restaurant in Bastrop. Their food is really good everything I have ever ordered I loved and this is why u continue to come and anyone who asked me where is a good place to eat, it’s this place not only in their foods good but it’s also very affordable the service is also amazing they make me feel welcome.”
“Hands down one of the best coffee shop experiences I’ve had! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The breakfast croissants were absolutely perfect — warm, flaky, and flavorful. The coffee hit the spot too — rich, smooth, and just what I needed to start the day. The whole place has a cozy, family-friendly vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!”
“It’s ok. Not having house made craft beer or cocktails is a bummer but it is a cool spot.”

“Sunday I woke up craving some authentic Mexican food, particularly a gordita, and found this hidden gem! I’ve lived in Bastrop for 2 years now and am disappointed that I’m barely discovering this place. The Gordita did not disappoint!! The meat was tender, juicy, and delicious! My wife enjoyed her street tacos, the Al pastor was her favorite! But it was the quesabirria that stole the show! The dipping juice was so flavorful and they gave us plenty of it! They were sold out of the tripas when we went so def will be going back to try that! Friendly service and delicious food! Can’t beat it!!”
“Typically eat dinner, but went in to try their breakfast. Not as good. I added hashbrowns to my order, and to my surprise and disappointment, received a potato pattie. Like they serve at McDonalds. After seeing my brothers potatoes, I asked for a side of those and mentioned I was disappointed about the hasbrowns. She agreed, but charged us for both sides. I will not return for breakfast.”
“Excellent place , the food is all fresh and really good quality I can't believe there's a place like this in Bastrop!! It's one of my favorites now , they are open until really late at night 11-12 !! Finally a place where you can go at night and treat yourself to a place that it's really worth it.”
“pretty dang good pastor and aguas Frescas would recommend if you want something with real seasoning.”

“We just moved to Bastrop from the DFW area . Looking for breakfast tacos on our first Saturday in the new place and came across this place... Papusas were AMAZING! Breakfast tacos were awesome, too.. A very short wait, but well worth it to enjoy fresh Papusas...”
“Overall I am happy with the store but the meat market and curbside service needs to step up their game. I got 2 packages of cube steak and one looks like thin cut chicken nugget sized pieces and the other is normal sized and thickness. The cutter should have known better and the person who worked the order should have known better Also, the meat dept seldom has more than 1 or 2 choice packer briskets. They will have 8 or 10 "wagyu" and Prime briskets but those are sinificantly more expensive.”
“If you want a smile on your face in the mornings or any other time, go eat at her trailer. Clean place and the best darn Big tacos too, not skimpy like a lot of the other trailers . 1441 and Green Valley on the corner. We’ve eaten there many times, she also makes tortillas .”
“I can’t say enough good things about Lab C. The staff is so friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food… the food is absolutely phenomenal!!! Whether you dine in or take it to go. I get the beef stir fry plate and sub in fried rice. It’s amazing, and I crave it way too often.. Eat here! You won’t regret it!!!”
“We had pineapple rice, Tom Kha, Broccoli stir fry, shrimp spring rolls and Khao Soi. Dessert: Mango, sticky rice and coconut cream. All hot. You chose your level of spicyness. Medium was perfect. Loop 150 at 95. Near the hummingbird statue. Tell your friends. I can not wait to go again. Excellent!!!”
“We always enjoy the atmosphere and the food. And Rosie is the most remarkable bartender. She is welcoming and friendly and makes a great drink”
“Food is great ordering online is a pain, it was easier when they used to take phone orders..”
“We went to Volcano in Bastrop for our anniversary dinner and had a great experience. The food was good, well-priced, and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and had a cozy atmosphere. It’s on the smaller side(probably around 10–15 tables)which actually made it feel more intimate and relaxed. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend it. We’d happily go back again.”
“everything is delicious. from beginning to end... great staff.as well..”

“My wife took me to this gem for my birthday. They were open for takeout only, but when they learned it was my birthday, they brought us inside, and Giovanni served us personally. The combo gumbo was absolutely DELICIOUS, and my wife had a superb catfish fillet sandwich with onion rings. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, do yourself a favor and experience the best food in all of Bastrop.”

“The food is always good here and the service as well but sharing so people are aware today was a very bad day. Got served by a gentlemen today, very gruff, not pleasant at all, seemed very put out to serve us. He dropped the food and never came back We went to check out and he just said $40 which was odd. He charged us $40 so I asked for an itemized receipt. it was $39.02. He would have gotten a much better tip had he been honest.”
“I went on December 5 around 9pm for a grub after a school performance. Writing this to compliment the 2 staff I saw working there. When I entered I noticed the staff was cleaning and I instinctively asked if they were closing. The guy smiled and said no.
We ordered 2 flauta combos + sopapillas. The flautas were hot & crunchy. The sopapillas were not soggy! The restaurant was clean.
It was a young black guy and latina woman working. I saw him take out the trash, and the Latina woman continuing to sweep. She even checked on us as we ate. Thank you.”

“I highly recommend stopping and grabbing a drink from Sunshine Sisters Coffee. Sydnie was a perfect blend of professional and friendly as she took the orders during the bustle after a local event. I enjoy a good lavender London fog, and their sunshine milk (cream with touches of vanilla, toffee, and white mocha) was a nice addition to a long time favorite drink. My children, budding connoisseurs of cocoa and Chai lattes, also really enjoyed their beverages. Next time we pass through, I am definitely stopping again.”

“Let's just be real this is fast food barbecue does it live up to being a very good fast food barbecue place pretty much it is exactly what you expect for fast food barbecue it's good it's just not great like you would expect from a traditional Texas BBQ joint but that's exactly what you signed up for and that's exactly what you expected when you walked in the door. I find it to be an extremely fair price for an extremely good product for what it is now definitely be back.”
“Wonderful team, it's was like watching the avengers! It was full, line was stacking up but the girls working the food line were efficient and working together.
The food was running out and the line cook had the food bins ready for the server, she kept her area clean and even acknowledged me when she noticed I was still waiting to order (she had to re-stock 3 items I needed for my burrito either way)
I had 4 meals in 2 separate orders and she got them done in 50 seconds, it was bananas. (You can't tip them in the card terminal. They only get cash tips.)
They were all in a pleasant mood, did not panic, made small talk feel normal and un forced, and were handling food clean and effectively.
I had to hop on here and show support, everyone was locked in. The food was wonderful and as expected!”
“Amazing brisket! Easy to get to and great staff 😙”
