Perfect for a chainsaw massacre movie night if you're staying in the onsite cabins. They have a ton of movies to rent, not just TCM. The cabins got pretty cold at night (we went in the Fall), but had space heaters that did a good job in keeping us comfy. The BBQ was really good, and they had a lot of cool merch and collectibles in the store.
Food is quality BBQ just like I had growing up in South Texas. BBQ places like this are getting harder to find. Highly recommend the brisket and sausage platter with beans and potato salad. The inside is pretty cool, decked out with horror movie memorabilia to browse during your short wait for your food. So glad we happened across this place during our stay in Smithville. Quick stop, great grub.

The chopped beef was delicious. The sausage was one of my favorite of any bbq place. Their sauce is very good. The Cole slaw is fresh. Highly recommend a drive to eat here. Very nice and roomy patio to eat and visit.
