“Stopped in while walking on Main Street. Tried a flight of the four beers they make. The blonde and pecan beer were good. The IPA is citrus not hoppy and bitter. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing is up to the IPA drinker. I was disappointed by the peanut butter and jelly beer. It smelled like jelly, but it didn't taste like a PB&J.“
“Really good food made with stellar ingredients! I've never liked raw tomatoes, but whatever cherry-like tomatoes they put in the garden salad were absolutely delicious. Our party of four ordered the red fish, primavera, ribeye, pork chop, fries, loblolly and garden (n=2) salads, pot de creme, gelato, cocktails (n=5), mocktails (n=3), and French press coffee for $362.36. If Store House was in Austin we'd definitely frequent it more often.“
“Michael was a fantastic server and knew the menu inside and out. The staff were extremely accommodating with our request to move outside, since inside was too loud for us. But the porch was lovely - just be aware that the heaters are strong! The amuse-Bouche was tasty, as were the cocktails. The squash bisque was on point, and the winter salad was gorgeous. My husband loved his steak, but honestly, the snapper was underwhelming. The pear dessert was refreshing, but the chocolate cake was a little much for me personally.“
“We moved to Bastrop about a year ago and just visited Neighbor's for the first time last night. I told my husband I felt cheated that we didn't try this place sooner! We each ordered a 10" pizza and oh my goodness....BEST pizza we've had not only here in Bastrop but for a long time!! What a gem of a local establishment. You've got a choice to sit outside and eat overlooking the Colorado River or inside. I loved the atmosphere inside and the wood tables with bench seating. Our waitress was very friendly, answered all our questions and kept our drinks full. The pizza was served hot, right out of the oven and it was delicious! Whether you live in Bastrop or are visiting, this is an absolute MUST eat at restaurant, we can't wait to go back!!“
