Patti was an awesome server. The food was on point. It’s smaller servings so if you want to grub go somewhere else… if you want a quality chef and bar tender you wont be disappointed.
Service and atmosphere were great. The salad was good. The soup ($18!) our waitress recommended was completely underseasoned and watery. It made me think they forgot to put any salt in it. The poached halibut ($48) was cooked nicely but also really lacked seasoning and was super bland with a mid sauce.
Crab and avocado salad was excellent.
For this price point you expect excellent food and sadly it didn’t deliver at all.
We traveled to Austin over Memorial Day weekend and had an absolutely amazing dinner at Stories. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. Our waitress was fantastic—unfortunately, I forgot her name—but she provided warm, attentive service that made the evening even more memorable.
