“From the location, the property and buildings, helpfulness and attitudes of the staff everything exceeded my expectations. I arrived very late at night and the check in process was smooth. The grounds and facilities were beautiful, and although I did not get to try the spa, golf club or gym, they all looked fantastic“

McDade's Emporium and Ice Cream Saloon Ice Cream Shop • $

“This cute and tiny shop is everything you need during your stay at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort. It serves as the following:+ Souvenir and Gift Shop - All sorts of gifts, both merch, toys and treats+ Ice Cream Shop - A nice selection of both ice cream and cones+ Pharmacy - They make basic meds like pain killers which came in hand+ Coffee Shop - The basic beverage and pastry selection you'd find at most coffee shops. Oh and bagels!+ Pizza Shop - Yes, you can order pizzas here for only $15!+ Grocery/Liquor Store - There's a fridge with basic groceries, to-go snacks, and alcohol.+ Candy Shop - Oh man so much candy and treatsThis shop is so convenient and I appreciate it being here. Oh and as for the PIZZA, we were able to do half veggie and half pepperoni. Something for the kids to enjoy that wont break your wallet. It only takes them like 10 minutes to prepare. The ice cream I enjoyed a lot and it was a very generous scoop. So fun!“

Maverick’s Roadhouse American •

“Food and service was great. That being said the prices still didn't quiet match. $13 for cup of soup of the day is excessive. Great soup but not $13 soup.Chicken club was nothing special. Brisket tacos were excellent. The pineapple Pico brought a tang that was a pleasant surprise. I worked at the Hyatt over 15yrs ago and I was very happy to know the brisket is still smoked to the same perfection. We got the wings with sauce on the side(great great grandma can't handle the heat) and I found the Buffalo cream sauce was light and tangy with a heat that still allowed you to enjoy the flavor of the sauce. I had the Wagyu burger and added bacon because bacon. It was great. The sauce compliments the beef and was applied with care as not to make a goopy dripping mess. We were celebrating my birthday and we got a piece cheese cake. They beautifully wrote happy birthday on the plate. No candle no singing (thank goodness) but it tasted amazing. Thick with a smooth creaminess without being heavy. The crust flavourful letting the creamy texture shine. Not a crumbling or soggy mess, just right.Overall the food was amazing but the bill was heavy even after having a couple of their great drinks. The one thing that I felt was missing on their menu was loaded nachos. In general there was no shareable food. It's like the made it for only singles. This can be a deal breaker for many people and I feel they may have shot themselves in the foot. Full and half order nachos would be a great addition. A family resort without a family option on their menu. I know they host conferences, but what better way to bring people together and strengthen bonds then to share a meal together.“

“Michael was a fantastic server and knew the menu inside and out. The staff were extremely accommodating with our request to move outside, since inside was too loud for us. But the porch was lovely - just be aware that the heaters are strong! The amuse-Bouche was tasty, as were the cocktails. The squash bisque was on point, and the winter salad was gorgeous. My husband loved his steak, but honestly, the snapper was underwhelming. The pear dessert was refreshing, but the chocolate cake was a little much for me personally.“

“Burgers were fresh and full of flavor.. although one thing that I would reconsider is ordering a double cheeseburger unless you want 2 pounds of ground beef. Single patty is more than enough. If you love fries order an extra side because the burger will only come with a handful. Other than that everything was great.“

“I'm so glad we tried this place. It was our first time going, so I didn't get to experience the old menu. The new menu is very limited, but the food was delicious! The only reasons I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is that the bone-in wings came out a bit cool, and the fries were not so crispy. My group will definitely be going back because the food was super delicious! I hope those little things will improve as time goes on. The service was great, the area was clean, and the atmosphere was perfect for watching some sports or hanging with friends.“
