“Best breakfast I've ever had! The grilled biscuits were heavenly. My husband got pancakes and offered me a few bites, and I don't even like pancakes, but the pancakes here were delicious! I loved the location and the experience.”

“Awesome manager on duty, Alvin. Had a three year old, wasn’t too hungry but as soon as we got in and smelled fries…. It was over lol kid was screaming, manager immediately got us our small fry for his meal and satiated my child’s hunger for me. Awesome guy, exactly what was needed for the situation. I apologize for my child’s behavior and thank you Alvin for keeping the rest of us sane from a child’s temper tantrum!Kid-friendliness: Awesome manager and employees helping feed us and get my kid his food in a timely fashion even though they were extremely busy!”

“We didn't get to enjoy the full experience as we were on a time crunch, but this looks like a very good place to sit back and enjoy coffee. We will definitely come back another time. Service was fantastic, choices in baked goods was very nice as well. Oh and the coffee was great! They sell by the bulk online, which I'll definitely be ordering from.”

“We've been back a few times and it just keeps getting better! They've added a kitchen, and a menu that includes a humongous cobb salad. And they've added a brewery called Yegua Creek, which offers glasses a beer, flights and growlers. They have many styles of beer, all brewed with excellence. The staff is always friendly. We always feel appreciated. We've seen a lot of musical acts here. The owner really knows music and is well connected. They have a three day music festival next month that we'll check out. This place is a real gem. Bring your dog (and a leash). Bring your friends. Bring your kids. Check it out :-)”

“This restaurant is a food vendor at Sherwood forest faire. While their building maybe humble, they offer some culinary meals you would find at high end restaurants. For example the Viking fries with white cheese sauce and smoked salmon with capers, Is a must for any foodie. RICH 3 cheese white sauce over fries and topped with a smoked salmon. The staff clearly are proud of there food and great you warmly, knowing you will soon be fans. I will concede their fries now beat Bruhaha for the best of faire.”

“The owner was real nice. She waited on me hand and foot LOL. I wish I had taken a picture because them plates was worth $28 w/ chicken wings. I don't know if they clone their food but I haven't seen chicken wings that big for a long time. Ex jumbo shrimp, even the fish fillets were big. HUGE!!! Those plates were enough to feed three people OMG!!! I didn't realize they had onion rings They accident through one in my plate I wish I'd known because I would have got some onion rings instead of the fries. It would have been a five star, but the crust on the fish was too thick for me. All I ate was a filet and two shrimps and l was full. OMG!!! black people's food, ready to go to sleep. ????? Need some signs because the place is like on the backside of a gas station. I will go again...”

The Lionheart Tavern 1883 Old Hwy 20, McDade Bar
1883 Old Hwy 20, McDade - 3.23 miles

“We love Sherwood! We go every year. It is quite a bit smaller than TRF, and much more family friendly, making it a perfect fit for family groups with children. The activities are fun and the shows are enjoyable. Lots of vendors with beautiful handmade items, and good food, too. This year there were more people than previous years, so one caveat - get there early! Parking is a breeze right at opening. The later you arrive, the more trouble you'll have and the longer you will have to wait getting to the lot.”
