Great locally owned spot for fried chicken, and I can't wait to try the fried fish/shrimp! Service is always top notch, and my husband loves the gizzards too. Cute seating available inside, and the drive thru window is also great for to go orders.
Found this place after seeing this recommended as the best fried chicken restaurant in the Bastrop FB group. This place is super charming and definitely has a homey southern feel to it. They only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and they serve mainly fried chicken. They also serve fried fish on Fridays and also fried pork steak (haven't tried that yet). Wow, What a beautiful surprise. The food is wonderful and the service is amazing. We had fried chicken and gizzards. A couple different sides all of them are wonderful cobbler and banana pudding was fantastic some of the best. Can't wait to go back and try the fried fish and shrimp. Everything's not fried so go give them a try. Very family friendly people.The place is small and cozy. Nice outside patio.
