Absolutely delicious food, friendly and courteous service. Highly recommended!Parking: It's in the downtown area and does not have a parking lot. You have to park on the street. Still, it is not a determent for me. I will definitely go back when in town.
I had a combo platter with catfish, shrimp, hush puppies, all fried, French fries,, and deep fried deviled eggs. Wife had catfish and onion rings with hush puppies. We were quite satisfied with the meal and service.Parking: There is a limited amount of parking in downtown Bastrop.

If you are visiting Bastrop, just know that this place is a must for great fried fish platters and burgers and the locals know it. It was packed! I got Paw Paws Platter with a substitute of Green Beans... don't miss these gems. The fish was tender and the shrimp were huge. My son got the Big Mouth Burger loaded with egg, bacon and cheese. He affirmed that it was the best burger he has ever had. The staff were excellent... nice, fast, and attentive.
