Food is AMAZING. I would suggest ordering takeout well in advance though. We made the mistake of showing up, thinking we would be able to get a table. We were told that a table was an hour wait. So we decided to place a to go order instead, we were told it would be ready in an hour. The sign on their door says to order before showing up to eat. But, my eggplant parm was FANTASTIC. The food rivals anything I have ever had in Italy.

The food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. That’s not the problem. I hate to leave a bad review but the service was horrible. The lady who was waiting our table was the same lady topping the pizza dough, serving ice cream and working the register as well as boxing and giving out to go orders. 2 employees total for maybe 15 people or more sitting at tables. We waited for an hour and 15 mins with one drink that emptied and no one to come check to see if we needed refills or to see how we were doing. The lady was nice but in order to adequately service costumers dining in, you need waitresses and servers. Please hire more staff even if you have to up your menu prices. The food was very affordable. But the wait times and lack of service was unacceptable.

There seemed to be just one person running the front with a full restaurant, but otherwise the food and prices were phenomenal. We ordered a personal pasta (that still coulda fed two people), a 14 inch pizza, cheese sticks and a gelato. Total for all this for two people was about $30. And we have plenty of food left over for lunch tomorrow as well.
Our dinner was absolutely delicious! Thank you, Chris!
Four years later, and Bastiano's is still delicious!

This is a super cute location. Has a home feel and family owned. I actually like it is family oriented!!! I really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza I got it was AWESOME, now the smores pizza was good but not my thing I think it has tocdo with the texture of marshmallows. Still good and I'm sure others will love it!
This isn't fast food it is hand made so be ready to sit and breath as your food is being prepared. Overall a good experience!

I will not be back. I ordered the bread sticks, Greek salad, and creamy garlic bowtie pasta with chicken. The salad was fresh. The bread sticks were average. The entree was a very large portion of mostly pasta and what tasted like a cheap garlic cream sauce from a can. The chicken amounted to about one half of a chicken breast or one chicken tenderloin. The flavor of the chicken was so-so. There was one waitress for all tables and she was slow and blase. Perhaps the pizzas are better.

Food is always delicious, husband's favorite is the traditional cheese and pepperoni pizza. I have had a few different items off the menu gluten free and they are all very good. Gluten Free pizza crust is amazing. Service is always with a smile =) The Gelato is a great ending to a great meal
Best pizza by far in Bastrop…not sure if I’ve had a better pizza in Austin either. Great quality, awesome service and the prices are a steal. It’s byob sk will be back to try the pasta with a bottle of wine :).
