I dont like the bodega, overpriced and has terrible food options. Weird how its got a swap meet vibe to the inside (its a giant warehouse)

This is a great place for Elon Musk’s employees and friends. It even features a barbershop and a child's playground. The cafe also offers good food. Oh, and there are ping-pong tables and pool tables!

This facility provides food and groceries. It caters to several of Elon Musk’s companies in the area, but it is also open to the public.

Decent food but the wait time is through the roof for a sandwich. Expect to wait about 30min

I’m really disappointed with my experience at The Boring Bodega in Bastrop.

I hosted my son’s 1st birthday party here and while I was at the bar, I overheard the bartenders talking to a man in a red shirt saying they “didn’t want to do this” because kids were playing in the kids’ area and using the toys, which made the space look messy. They literally looked over at our party while saying this. That felt extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable, especially considering this was a CHILD’S birthday party in a space that has a kids’ play area.

On top of that, every time I’ve been here, the kitchen staff shows zero customer service. During checkout, the kitchen guy didn’t acknowledge me or my friend at all just stared at us until I had to say something for him to finally ring us up. He looked annoyed, like he didn’t even want to be there.

What makes this worse is that we paid for the setup and cleaning fee, yet we still helped clean most of it ourselves. Nothing was being done “for free,” so the attitude was completely unnecessary.

Unfortunately, this has been a pattern. Even on previous visits with my husband, we’ve felt ignored and unwelcome. As Mexicans, it honestly makes us feel uncomfortable and unwanted every time we come in, like they don’t want to attend to us or be bothered.

This place had potential, but the lack of professionalism, customer service, and overall attitude ruined the experience for us. I won’t be hosting or attending events here again.

Love this place, we bring our 2 year old munchkin, play games and drink Guinness on tap. It doesn't get more Boring than this place.

Great place to hang out.

It wasn't boring, it has groceries, a bar, activities and Boring Company merch.

It has a barbershop now, that's a nice addition. Also a pottery decoration and firing studio now too.

Great little out of the way place in Elon’s side of Bastrop. Good food. Pretty full bar and bar games as well as a convenience store with higher end brands and options

Not for me but it was just ok

Really cool, out of the way place, sitting amongst several buildings where some of the most the most forward looking technology is being manufactured!

I had fun checking it out.

I give this place an A+! Fun
The Boring Bodega at Hyperloop Plaza in Bastrop, Texas, is a lively, all-in-one destination that’s anything but dull. Nestled near Starlink and The Boring Company facilities, it buzzes with energy and serves as a community hotspot. The market offers fresh produce, artisan treats, and unique “futuristic” items, while the café whips up tasty coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches. The standout chicken salad is fresh and packed with flavor—a must-order. Sports fans will love the TVs showing games, and the bar keeps the drinks flowing. Fun activities like corn hole, darts, and arcade games make it great for families or groups. Outdoor pickleball courts and a playground add to the appeal. The staff is warm, and the mix of locals and company employees creates an inclusive vibe. Plans for a full bar and outdoor stage hint at even more to come. The only downside is the somewhat industrial interior, but it doesn’t dim the overall charm. Worth the drive from Austin for a unique, vibrant experience!
