Overcharged for SPOILED FOOD. Our order is usually missing something or has extra things we did not ask for each time we come here. I didn’t even get a receipt with my last visit. I notice this happens when a plethora of the younger staff are there. I’m really not trying to be rude but that’s just how it goes. I asked for one mashed potato side REGULAR only to be given three, charged a strange amount, and have no receipt to further examine this. The containers with the black exes were spoiled.

I hate to leave a "bad" review on a place I've been to so many times throughout the last 10 years, but unfortunately it has come to this. About 2-3 years ago, the prices went up significantly for the combo meals. For example, a number 2 after tax costs almost $17 when it used to be around $12. That's for chicken tenders and a side with a drink. That's quite a lot of money for what you're getting, but the tenders are good, so It's an occasional treat I like to get. However, throughout the past 10 years, I've never been charged for any dipping sauce to use with my chicken tenders and at $17 I expect the sauce to be included. Not anymore apparently. They wanted to charge me an extra $5 for the same 3 sauces I've always gotten with my chicken tenders meal. That's over $20! You're telling me that $17 is not enough money to include the sauces I've always gotten with the same meal that used to be cheaper? No thanks. I'm already paying for more than the food is worth and to say that I need to pay an extra $5 to have sauce is a slap in the face. I got a refund because that's crazy money to be spending on a fast food lunch. I drove to Taco Bell and spent $7.69 and got 15 sauce packets included for free. Oh, and I got more food. It's a shame that it's come to this, but I think I've had my last meal from Chicken Express "luxury restaurant."
On a side note, you should probably pay attention to your employees a little more also. One of them went out to the parking lot in their uniform and bought a huge bag of what looked to be marijuana and walked right back inside. Just sayin.

Store manager refused to check cameras when my money was stolen by a drive-through cashier only offered me five dollars out of my whole total. I spent there and refused to give me store owner number.

Love the constant smiles and friendliness of the staff, and the corn nuggets are amazing!
well dont go on the weekend. twice ive gone and they are out of multiple things. no ketchup or honey, also no pickles or japalenos. like wow 1 thing i can let slide but multiple no. still havent fixed ice machine in over a year. bathroom dont use it, can tell its not cleaned, and tables all dirty, manager lady yelling at staff to can hear from front to back.

Love chicken express but when I got to Bastrop the service and food is horrible. I've been going for the last 7mo here a few times out the mo. Every time I go I ask for fresh tenders. They say all out food is fresh not true. They are cold in luke warm. I've spoken with Manger and she was the main one that gave¹me luke warm. Needs to improve before I go back again . Some of them are rude 😒
