I came in for coffee at 09:00 yesterday. I ordered a cranberry and orange scone and a large cappuccino with 1 shot decaf coffee and non fat milk. The server gave me the coffee and asked me if I needed the other shot, so I tried the coffee - it was scalding hot it burnt my mouth right away I had to spit it out as I couldnāt swallow it. She gave me a cup of ice and looked on not sure what to do. Once the scalding calmed down, I told her that the coffee was dangerously hot and she should take care when making coffees.
I am contacting you because I am in pain in my mouth, blisters have formed on my inner lips, my palate and tongue, and it hurts to eat or drink.
The scone was also so hot all the orange jelly had melted and dripping.
The whole experience was unpleasant, worrying and I still have an injured mouth.
There isnāt much I can do, but please please check the temperature setting on your steamer and reeducate the servers. I thought the steamer was supposed to be set to be a specific temperature.
I have been buying coffees from coffee shops several times a week for many many years. I have occasionally bought coffee from your place but in all these years I have never ever burnt my mouth.

I waited in the drive through line for 30mins for two cars ahead of me that is ridiculous other than that best coffee i had i arrived at 1250 and got to the window at 1330 the day i posted this, coffee was great but to wait 30 mins or more was not the best.

I really wanted to love this coffee shop. The atmosphere is definitely five stars and itās a nice place to sit and chat. The design and decorations of the place are really done well.The coffee wasnāt very good and I got a salad where part of it was rotten. I mentioned it to the staff to let them know not to serve that ingredient and wasnāt offered anything to replace it. Itās still a great place to go, meet someone or get some work done but donāt expect much from the food or coffee. This is based on one meal so maybe they had an off day.

Staff was wonderful. Husband's sandwich was good mine was on the low end of mediocre. Coffee was okay.
*Edit to respond to Owner: I got the zucchini panini and a latte with cookie dough syrup. The panini was cooked fine, it was just flavorless. Like there wasn't a whole lot of attention put into what could make a flavorful veggie sandwich. Unless there were supposed to be herbs or a sauce or something on there that was missing? Apparently no one on shift knew that you even served it since they'd never sold one before.

Welcoming coffee house with baked goods, a food menu, and friendly staff. They have several tables and booths, a tiny shop, and a large free parking lot they share with adjoining businesses. It's located in a shopping center just west of downtown between it and the freeway.

The service here needs improvement. My overall experience was unpleasant and disappointing. The screenshot I attached to this review shows another review that is interaction between a customer and the owner of this business. I think the owners response to the review should tell you all you need to know about this place. I visited last week with my wife. We did not feel welcomed, it was pretty slow, 1 person ahead of us and for some reason it took us 15 minutes to get 2 coffeeās (medium latte, large cold brew) There were 3 employees. 2 at the counter and 1 at the window. Iāve worked in several service industry positions. Including a coffee shops and the service we got at this place is unacceptable. I just politely ask to consider this feedback and take a look at how yāall could be doing things better. The coffee was great. I would choose this place over Starbucks. But I will not be returning here anytime soon. I just hope nobody has the unfriendly and poor service my wife and I received. I sincerely hope there is improvement in how this business operates.
coffee dog is a solid little coffee shop in bastrop that has a convenient drive through. i have always had nice experiences when i have come. staff is friendly, the food is good with generous portions. i think my only critique is the atmosphere can be a little frantic with a lot of noise.

5 stars because it's an awesome little spot for a town like Bastrop that makes great coffee - but - they seem pretty frequently understaffed and/or slow. If you're in a rush and need to grab something quick it might not be the best option.

Really great cappuccino, like better than 90% of Austin coffee shops. Very good, quality espresso and it even came with cute foam art. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in Bastrop.
