Me cobraron 30 dolares extra, por pagar una cuenta de más de $140 dlls, dos niños mi bebe y yo, adicional sus 20 de tip. muy mal, no volveremos ni recomendaré a nadie más

I personally feel if you get to a restaurant (or any other place) prior to close you should be treated the same as if you come in the middle of the day. Wow has covid made workers lazy!!! We arrived 25 minutes before close to be told we could only do take out. Well BS! Not only did we take our money elsewhere tonight we will take it elsewhere the 1-2 times a month we went there! Do better and teach your staff better

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Costa Azul Mariscos and Micheladas, and it was a fantastic experience. The shrimp cocktail and octopus were incredibly fresh, clean, and delicious. We also tried the oyster shots, which were so amazing that I don’t think I’ll ever want to eat oysters out of a shell again!

The fried shrimp tacos were light and flavorful, definitely the best I've had. I appreciated that all the toppings were served on the side, allowing me to customize each taco to my liking. The restaurant itself was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere.

While the service was just okay—I wish our server had been a bit more attentive—the quality of the food really stood out. Overall, this place is a gem in Bastrop, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for authentic Mexican seafood.

Update: Went back and got the best service and the server was very attentive and the shrimp cocktail was super fresh like always. We are already planning to go back this Saturday, it truly is our favorite place!!!

We just love this place!! The food is great and the Micheladas are amazing as well as the margaritas! All the juices are hand squeezed and fresh!! Mike behind the bar is great and really friendly as well as Crystal and all the employees!! I highly recommend giving them a try!!

Krystal and Mike are the best costa Azul is the go to place in Bastrop very welcoming and the food is excellent. The verity of mariscos and traditional is just what Bastrop needs ! 5 stars

We had not patronized Costa Azul in a while. Bad move! Azul has completely updated their menu and it is a SCORE!!! So many intriguing options to choose from. Known for their quality and tasty seafood "mariscos" ...they also have a good variety for those without a taste for the sea. To start, we highly recommend their guac with grilled shrimp and if you like spice, they keep several salsa options with peppers local to the Nayar mountains. Put a few drops of that on
your guac... yahhh baby! Now main course ... so much to pick from. Try the Costa mix for all shrimp lovers. Shrimp 5 ways!! It's just amazing. Spectacular!! The fajita mix is so freaking on point it's just wow with fantastic tortillas that have to be handmade. Service is so nice and attentive. Very casual almost takes me back to the South America.
Fellow foodie lovers Hint: ***
Both the Costa mixa green sauce and brown sauce pairs with the fajita shrimp, chicken and beef by the way. Omg!!
And certainly don’t forget the bar with many cocktail and beer mix options. Try a michelada
