I had a very bad experience the first time we ordered here but the manager (I forgot her name) made it right and reached out directly to me to apologize. Very satisfied with her going above and beyond to improve our experience. The food was great! See pics

Double Dave’s has really good pizza and friendly workers. The food comes out fast and always tastes great.

My husband and I just had a very disappointing experience at Double Dave’s in Bastrop, Texas. The lady taking our order had to pull someone from the back and spoke to them in Spanish because she clearly didn’t understand what we were asking he. I could deal with that… But what I couldn’t deal with is waiting and waiting for our pizza that we had advised we wanted to dine IN with. They ended up putting it in a box, leaving it under the warming light as if it were a to go order and no one thought to bring it to us, so we sat there and sat there until I finally went up to the counter and realized they had processed it as a to go order.
The lobby wasn’t busy, there were only two other tables that were dining in, so anyone could’ve looked at us and realized that there was an issue with the amount of time we were still sitting and waiting.. There was no apology, they looked at us when I told them that was terrible customer service as if it were my fault. At a minimum they could’ve called out our name so I would’ve known that it was ready.
I’m also not in the habit of leaving a tip ‘before’ having our dining experience and I almost feel that they did that to us on purpose because I did not leave a tip when we originally paid. Now I’m glad I didn’t. Won’t be returning.

First time in Bastrop location. Staff is not trained properly. They dont pay attention to the customer. They dont keep up with food orders given. Waste of time. Asked status of food order and they hadn't even started it they forgot.

Missed out on the daily deal they had when we ordered the same exact thing for the normal price, wish they called that out for us and tell us about the daily deal. They also missed the basil I ordered for one pizza even though I paid for it and they brought the same pizza out seemingly more crunchy and with tiny basil flakes over it. Not the best experience for a newcomer but maybe if you're a regular you'd know what's best to order.

Ordered a $28 margarita pizza had no pizza sauces. Run by a bunch of teenagers who don’t give a crap!! Save your money!
