Service was great. Servers are nice and friendly. Breakfast tacos were pretty big size and delicious. We are definitely coming back.

We walked in at 7:40pm, not realizing that they closed at 8p. Our waitress, Veronika, was so kind and assured us that they were happy to host us. The place smelled pleasant (no cleaning chemical smell) and was also extremely clean! The food was very flavorful, tasted freshly made, and the taco salad had a wonderfully crispy shell!! The drinks were also delicious! This is now my go-to for Mexican food in the Bastrop area.

Hostess and greeter very polite! I enjoy the menu selection. Delightful waiters and waitresses who are professional and helpful. Our meals are always delicious!!
The craft Bloody Mary is excellent.

The food was very bland and service took a long time. Very disappointing.

The only thing decent items were the salsa chips and tortillas. The rice tasted like burnt garlic bitter, the enchilada sauce was like jello, and the chalupa was a

I really wanted to like this place because I am new to Bastrop and people often recommend it in the neighborhood (with the caveat that they are often understaffed so to be patient with them). However, I recently ordered a to go order with several items, one of which (a soup) did not make it into the bag. That part of my experience wasn't the issue, though. It's how I was treated by the staff when I called to try to find resolution.

When I called to let the restaurant know (I wasn't mad or anything, I've managed restaurants most of my adult life and I know mistakes happen), the girl who answered was very polite and redirected me to someone who could better help me.

The woman who picked up to better help me ended up aggressively insisting that I got my soup and that it was in the bag. I calmly told her that I had all of the food spread out on the table and it was not, in fact, in the bag. I reassured her that I wasn't trying to deceive them or be dishonest. Nonetheless, she kept pushing me to check again, and I assured her that I wouldn't have called if I hadn't already checked. She suggested I check my trunk and even went as far to threatening to check the store cameras.

Now, I want to be clear. I am not an angry or disgruntled person. I understand this industry and have opened several restaurants in NYC. I'm not even someone to believe "the customer is always right." But to be so aggressive toward someone who is just trying to find a mutual solution to a very small and common restaurant misunderstanding is completely out of line.

In terms of the food we did receive - the chips are amazing as most people have stated. The food was just okay. Queso was a lot like velveeta cheese melted with barely any flavor. Chicken fajitas were bland and not really worth it, but maybe they're better in person rather than to-go.

I really hope they train their staff to be more kind to people (short staffed or not). My entire family lives out here now and loves supporting local businesses. We will gladly pass on this one.

We were in town for a getaway and wanted to eat at a local place and decided to try this joint out. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was just chicken and cheese, it was ok but no flavor. The 'ol lady ordered bean and cheese nachos, they looked bad and she said they where worse then they looked.

The food was delicious. I got one of the lunch specials with tea for $10.50( they have about 7 different lunch specials.). I don't usually eat the rice, but theirs was so good. My waitress Breanna was very attentive. Will definitely go back and try something else.

Food: looks good but cold. Service: order was right but took too long to table and did not notice the temperature of the food. Atmosphere: very bland, very cold, has not changed in at least five years. Had Nachos.

The food is really good here. I think they make their pico de gallo with serranos, so it can be spicy
