First time eating here and we had a great experience. We just moved to Bastrop from Austin and were looking for a new neighborhood spot for us to start frequenting. We had the shaggy dog roll and a bowl of their ramen which we both really enjoyed. The service was very friendly and the place itself is cozy. Looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely delicious! We had the Ramen Tonkatsu and it was so good! The broth was rich and well-flavored,the noodles were good, and the pork was tender. They also gave us a couple of bao with chocolate filling to share, super yummy! Definitely will be back!

This place is pretty cool! Nice atmosphere, good sushi (I had the longhorn), and amazing service. Everything came out super fresh even though it was a full restaurant. These guys rock!

Kyoto is a gem here in Bastrop. Great food, excellent service... We've been coming here regularly for years and never had a bad experience. Can't recommend it enough

While the restaurant is small (12 tables), the food and service are amazing. That was the freshest tasting sushi I’ve had in the Austin area. And the rolls were large. The service was attentive without being annoying and friendly.

Good food, good service, no complaints. We have been going here regularly for several years and have never been disappointed. It is rather small inside and tends to fill up on weekends, so you may have to wait to get a table.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner very much. We arrived at 7 pm and were seated right away. The restaurant was clean and full of other patrons. Our server was very attentive and the many other staff members checked on us throughout our meal. Our food was delicious. My husband especially loved his teriyaki chicken, while my favorite are the crab puffs. Finally the hostess sealed the deal. Watching her treat every guest like an old friend was very special the behold. All in all, we had a great night and we will definitely be going back.

The sushi bento box is so perfect to share with my daughter. We love coming here because the food is delicious and BEAUTIFUL!!!
