I’m a big fan of P. Terry’s and east at multiple locations but the last two times I’ve been to the one in Bastrop the items tasted like old grease, both my egg burger I got a couple of weeks ago and the veggie burger I ordered this week. It seems maybe they’re not taking cleaning serious at this location. I’ve never experienced this at any other P.Terrys. A friend confirmed she had the same experience her last two visits.

This P. Terry location is a burger stand and not a full restaurant. You can only use the drive thru or the order window to place an order to go.
This was my first time trying the chicken burger AKA chicken sandwich and it was mediocre. The chicken meat was very white as shown in my picture. I've never seen grilled chicken this white. The taste of the chicken was less than desirable. I'll stick with ordering a beef burger next time. The strawberry shake was good.

Get it right Bastrop. 3 times I've ordered chicken bits. 3 times I've asked for 2 special sauces and EVERY time I have gotten HALF of one special sauce. Its a huge disappointment, especially since I was also charged more... do better.
It is Bastrop specific because I go to several Austin locations and this does not happen.

I’ve eaten at several P Terrys in Austin. I was in Bastrop and decided to try P Terrys in Bastrop. I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and a vanilla shake. After I got back on the road, I discovered I wasn’t given a straw which proves to be a problem if you’re driving. Once I opened the burger, I discovered there were no grilled onions on it. The food was good minus the grilled onions.
Best drive thru experience. Dog friendly and great service. Eat the fries right away! They are best super hot. Burger could be hotter and cheese meltier, but always delicious. For fun get 1 meat patty and 1 veggie patty with cheese 😋 So goooood!

Took a gulp of what I thought was the coke I ordered. It was Dr. Pepper omg the worst. If youre not a Dr. Pepper drinker you know! Ruined my whole meal. I know, I know. For someone who doesn't drink soda very often I felt betrayed 🤣 Chicken sandwhich was still good just wasn't the same. (Ordered drive thru)

I go to PTerrys quite often and they have the best service a fast food place can have. They have only messed up on my order once, gave me sweet tea instead of unsweetened tea in my Arnold Palmer. No problem on my part. Their food always taste great. Their services is always great and they are always fast!! I just went and grabbed lunch from PTerry’s and there was a long line. I still got in line and had my order out in Under 5 to 10 minutes. Great place!!
