The sausage taste horrible, bologna taste better. The peach cobbler tasted like uncooked dough and the bbq sauce had a weird taste. It was so bad I had to write a review. The brisket was really good. Order a BBQ patatoe to stay on the safe side.

Super place. After a long day, we visited here on the way back to Houston. Great service and great BBQ. A nice finish to the day.

Ribs and brisket were dry, brisket had an off flavor. Sausage was good. Mac and cheese tastes like it came out of a box and was chalky.

What in the world is happening to Texas BBQ. I’ve been a long time customer of Southside and mostly enjoyed my experience over the years. That said, things have gone very poorly the last several visits.1. The PRICE is simply outrageous! I just paid roughly $21 for a sandwich and an ice tea. No sides, no sauce! Just a bun, meat, pickles, onions and my tea. That is ridiculous!2. The meat was almost inedible. It was maybe room temp, dry as leather, and it tasted like it had been washed in a sink.I would never write this review if today was them simply having a bad day. It’s NOT!At one point Southside could hold its own with any BBQ in Central Texas.Today they have turned into a cool place to go with mediocre service and overpriced BAD FOOD.Do Better Southside!

We like eating here. It's the first time I have tried the baked potato. My Mom loved her baked potato. I liked mine but it would have been better if it was hot, instead it was just warm and harder for the cheese to melt.

The brisket didn't live up to the hype. I was disappointed. It doesn't hold a candle to Mitch's BBQ in Amarillo.

First visit will not be my last. The Southside Family Meal did, indeed, feed 6 people. We added 2 Dinosaur Ribs (Couldn't resist!!). The meat was so juicy and delicious. The sides were good too. Plenty of sauce, pickles, bread and onions were included. I've tasted several BBQ's in my years in Texas. Gotta say this one ranks high on my 'definitely worth the price' scale.

I'll be going to Southside markets and stay open and the service being great the food is very good and all the workers are very polite. I have family to come from fort Worth from Dallas just to buy it at Southside market. It's a great place for events and special days like birthdays and Valentine's Day good environment and very good service thank yeah.

So tired of ordering bbq from this place and having to ask for bread. Then they give literally two pieces. Buy a bird get two pieces of bread and a thousands crackers. What human eats the entire bird on two pieces of bread. If you can’t afford to give bread with the order then stop giving out crackers. Save on the ten thousand crackers you give out and give out bread and napkins instead. So insane this has to be said at a bbq place.
