Been here twice now (dinner and brunch), and the food was so good each time. Excellent quality, pairings and presentation and a really lovely group of people that work there.

Such a cute and delicious spot in Bastrop. We sat inside and enjoyed the Beatles record playing. We got the French fries to start and they were phenomenal. Good took about an hour to come out but it was tasty. I got the redfish (they had to cook it extra because I am pregnant) and we had creme brûlée for dessert and it was one of the best I have had! Great price for quality of food.

For those with food allergies, there are much safer options in Bastrop. We noted allergies when making the reservation and asked our waitress to inform the kitchen once we were seated. With the elevated prices, I assumed the kitchen would be experienced enough to handle allergy issues. I was very wrong and will be physically paying the price for the next several days. I most definitely ate something I was allergic to.I called the next day to find out what we had that caused the issue. I did this so I would know what to order in the future and also so the kitchen can figure out where the breakdown in communication occurred. When I called, the person that answered the phone was concerned. I spoke to the brunch chef and he had an idea of what caused the issue but stated the dinner chef would call me back. I did not get a call back. The food was great, but for the price I would expect exceptional service and care. I’m very disappointed at the lack of professionalism shown by serving unsafe food and failing to follow-up.Dietary restrictions: Kitchen and staff ignored food allergies.

Really good food made with stellar ingredients! I've never liked raw tomatoes, but whatever cherry-like tomatoes they put in the garden salad were absolutely delicious. Our party of four ordered the red fish, primavera, ribeye, pork chop, fries, loblolly and garden (n=2) salads, pot de creme, gelato, cocktails (n=5), mocktails (n=3), and French press coffee for $362.36. If Store House was in Austin we'd definitely frequent it more often.

Male waiter with mustache ignored order requests from menu. However he was bring out other people’s orders/ deserts. I asked for my recipe & to not be charged for missing item. His response was, ”Don’t worry you won’t be charged cause I never put it in”! He then stood behind me to see how much I would tip him for his lack of service. I selected no tip he then became confrontational. Demanding a tip in-front of my family. Very unprofessional waiter never going back!

Bastrops best restaurant! Farm to table and absolutely delicious dishes! I have had a number of different things from the seasonally rotating menu along with my friends and never once had anyone been disappointed with the dishes. In fact everyone loves it as some of the best food they have ever had, especially in Texas and the best of Bastrop! Stop on by and tell them I said hi!!

Farm to table delight.Happened upon the Store House while in town during brunch, and was pleasantly surprised with the impressive quality of the food.Staff were friendly and attentive, and the owner herself came out to visit our table in the patio. She gave us an open invitation to visit her farm down the road, and offered us a complimentary dish of her amazingly delicious, perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, savory quails, that were not on the menu. First time tasting it - and because of this culinary experience, definitely not the last.Every bite was heavenly. Drinks were on point. The vibe was awesome. Will make it a must to visit when we’re in the area.

In general I love the food here as it is fresh, very imaginative and pleasantly experimental, however 2 of our party were disappointed with their starters (one too ordinary and one too strange) and one entree was disastrous: an inedible ribeye steak. The menus are now SO SMALL that some of our guests needed a magnifying glass to read them. The music was far too loud and inappropriate for restaurant dining as well: old Little Richard singles over and over and over! Re the steak, the chef did the correct thing and removed it from the bill. We will still go back though...perhaps when the menu changes again.

Pretty good food but very expensive. It cost me 25 dollars for an egg sandwich with 2 slices of bacon and a mineral water. So a sandwhich I could make at home for less than 5 dollars. A small orange juice... 5 bucks. The food is good, the staff is friendly, the prices are ridiculous.

Came here first time for Sunday brunch. I had crab cakes benedict. Crab cakes were burnt on bottom, eggs were over cooked with hard centers and food was lukewarm. Wife had biscuits and eggs. The smoked pork was created using some type of liquid smoke and was salty. Plus like mine was lukewarm. Dont order tea, glass is so small that after ice almost no liquid exists. This will not be repeated. Staff was nice and pleasant and old house is nice, but food kills entire experience.
