Was driving through Bastrop and found this cute little coffee shop!! Staff was so friendly and helpful they will customize your drink to your liking. The breakfast sandwich on a croissant is very delicious. I tried the Caramel Apple latte it was very flavorful.

Coffee was not good. We asked for little sweetener and it was almost too sweet to drink. If you have ever had good coffee this place is a let down. Food was fairly good. Staff were nice. Slow service in general.

This place is great. What a find. The owners are the nicest people. I accidentally stumbled upon this place looking for a juice shop. The owner made me a smoothie to order which was great and even gave me a tour around the building! Stumbled on this cafe only to find out it’s been here several years! The lovely woman who was working is the owner, which I always think is so nice! Her and her husband just took over the cafe in March. Wonderful experience, super patient, she knows her stuff, she makes everything fresh, just overall a really nice cafe! If you want to stay and enjoy your drink/food there is a beautiful tree covered picnic table area outside, and several different seating options inside (great wifi and lighting). I got the Green Machine (no oj), avocado toast (added egg), and a maple cinnamon oat milk shaken espresso. 5 stars!!! Not hard to get to, take the college street loop off 71 and loop under the bridge. (:
I went for the first time yesterday and the Matcha Latte was amazing. I went back today, I throughly enjoyed the avocado toast( some different bread options would be great) , my husband said the croissant for his breakfast sandwich was especially delicious and the chocolate chip cookie had great texture & flavor. However, I did try the maple sea salt shaken espresso & it had an overpowering taste I tried a second sip and couldn’t stomach it. They quickly offered to make me another one and I got a brown sugar shaken espresso instead.. I realized then that their espresso is sour/acidic. So the sour with the salty in the first drink I think is what made it not taste good. I’m hoping it was just an off day for their espresso, I will def be retuning for more matcha. The staff was very sweet and helpful.
