This is a hidden gem of an Asian restaurant in South Austin. I come here often! The service is always warm and attentive, and the portions are generous. The lady who runs the place is also the cook, and you can truly feel the passion she puts into every dish—she even remembers exactly what I like. The Indonesian fried chicken is hands down the best I’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this place

I have been craving Indonesian food for the longest. Absolutely amazing Indonesian cuisine. Mariana is an excellent cook and i would highly recommend trying out her dishes. The curry ayam and ayam goreng in particular are excellent in flavor and texture. Terima kasih 5 stars.

It's nice to find Indonesian food on the south side of Austin.Tried the curry chicken, chicken noodle (bakmi), and veggie spring rolls (w/ peanut and sweet&sour sauce). Absolutely loved them. The flavors were as close to authentic as it can be and delicious. Very friendly service as well. If you love a bit (or a lot) of burn, get the green sambal (chili sauce/salsa).
I had the best experience at Warung this afternoon? After a very busy morning I stopped in for coffee at Madrone and decided to try the Indonesian fusion truck on property. Let me tell you, Mariana did not disappoint!! She made me the most beautiful combination of flavors I have had in a very long time… Her spring rolls? FANTASTIC!! Her pho? EXCELLENT!! Her service and the genuine love she puts into her dishes was so much more than expected. When I say those 30 minutes were enough to make any Monday a great one, I mean it. 100%. I can not wait to go back and try everything on her menu✨✨✨
